WOS did not impress me when they scrimmaged Vidor. I think they might of had 6 people on the sidelines and their depth is lacking.

The field looks really nice.

After seeing WOS scrimmage @ Vidor I think we can win against WOS. I like our chances.

From what I witnessed tonight at the scrimmage its gonna be tough to stop Vidors Offense. I understand that WOS is a 3-A school but does Dayton have a team this year ? Whats got me puzzled is Dayton could only score 7 points on WOS and Vidor could have scored @ will (without turnovers). WOS had a good defender sitting out for the scrimmage but how much could this one player have helped ? I will admit that I have been hard on the pirate fans since I've found this website but they are for real and until you see them you won't understand. * as for WOS us Nederland fans will find out how good they are when we play. It would just be hard for me to believe that both Dayton and WOS have weak teams especially in the same year and for those that doubt Vidor thats basically what your saying. Vidor has the strength and size to run that offense and I really don't see where road games like Lumberton and Central are going to effect what they do when they can overpower other teams like they are capable of doing with that offense. WOS had 8 people in the box at all times and knew where the ball was going and could not stop them. How are you supposed to stop it ? They're big and not just the lineman . I sat on the WOS side and by the end of the 1st QTR you could look around and see everyones jaws on the ground including my own. SHOCKING

WOW Vidor completely surprised me tonight. I would have never thought that they would have dominated WOS the way they did. I think Vidor ran maybe 3 plays all night with the exception of one pass play. They fumbled the ball several times in their own territory (once inside the ten )and had some penalties that set up WOS scores. If they would have played mistake free ball and not have taken their 1st team out early in the 3rd QTR they could have scored 50 or 60 points. WOS knew what they were going to run right @ them and could not stop them. Their defense was real physical and really swarmed to the ball and delivered alot of bigtime hits. Vidor is a good team they really impressed me tonight . WOW I'm not a fan of Vidor but I've got to give credit where credit is due. GO DAWGS

Really, that will play more into what they need to work on... run behind those big ole linemen and try to wear you out. Really, that will play more into what WOS needs to work on... running up the score !
