Just wanna see us finish strong. Nobody in 3A can replicate the depth Lumberton has.

We gassed running so many both ways. Lumberton too fresh. Gonna be as bad as Reyes wants it to be.

And we won't be close to 4A D2 lol. We are outmatched in the trenches. It's killing us. Last year we had Fite and Welch up front and it made a huge difference. We gotta find some life offensively. Best of luck to yall in 2nd half.

You even know football? What in the world of the history of Pigskin makes you think that's the wishbone? 1. We got 6 or 7 starting both ways. Depth killing us. 2. Yalls DL vs our OL is a massacre. 3. Last 4 defensive series haven't been horrible. Offense gotta give help. 4. Ref placed a PI call at spot of foul inside the 5....not half the distance to the goal. Don't hurt the lil guys....we in bad shape as it is. 5. Lumberton at full strength and I wish they still weren't. Different team with no injuries. Lol

All the uphill battle we having to fight against......depth, size, and talent........refs gonna spot foul a PI at the end of the half inside the 5 instead of half the distance to the goal? We can't catch a break. Been an awful performance but the last 4 defensive series our boys have gave it their all. Lumberton DL vs Tatum OL has been a massacre.

Rough go so far. Lumberton bigger, stronger, deeper. Defense hasn't looked bad last 3 drives but offense faltering. 23-7, Tatum ball at LHS 46 after fumble recovery. 2:00 left til half.

Don't let me sway you one way or another lol.....we're fighting two classes above our weight class. Depth will be a huge factor. We technically shouldn't have been in the game last year, not on paper anyways. The flexbone triple option is tough to defend, though.

One of our pitchmen went for 221, QB went for 113 on the ground in this one last year. The offensive weapons responsible for 440 of the 535 total yards posted on them last year returned this year. I like our chances.

Neva say neva......they were much more loaded last year and we played them to a 6 point ball game. QB and top 2 pitchmen returned that did the most damage last year. Will we win? No clue, will we show up and punch em in the mouth again? You bet your last shiney quarter, we will.

Tatum's Stats for the game 53 carries for 451 yards, 6 rushing TDs 79 yards passing 530 total yards Sophomore RB Siglir - 11 carries 221 yards, 1 TD Junior QB Watson - 15 carries 113 yards, 2 TDs I'm sure Lumberton racked up well over 500 yards as well.

Ward was a load. Only one of our boys had an answer for him and that was the D1 D-Linemen Fite. Nobody else could tackle him without help. QB ran well in space too. With that kind of balanced attack its pick your poison. We went man to man and tried to corral the run game with 5 for the most part, sometimes 6. Had running lanes for days up the middle behind big OL. Very solid balanced offense. Yall go give 4A hell fellas.

Lumberton 48 Tatum 42 Final Our boys ain't got no quit in them. I can live with the outcome. Gave everything they had. Lumberton was huge and had tons of talent. Our run game is gonna be hell for 3A D1 to stop. I like where coach Keeling has this program headed in his first year. Get to rest up and try to get healthy with the bye week next then start district play against Gladewater. Congrats on the win Lumberton. Yall got a solid squad. Ward is a load. Passing game looked good. Best of luck the rest of the season. We return every kid that touched the ball except for #35 next year. Hopefully we'll be able to give yall a game next year as well and make this 2 game series worth it for yall.

And yeah, Watson is a brawler at QB. Kid is tough. Only offensive skill player yall have seen that graduates is #35. This is his first game back from turf toe. All the rest that have touched the ball return. Could be a good year next year too.

I think we're gonna be pretty solid after this tough non-district schedule. Offense is tough to stop. So much to account for. Got a few playmakers that can create issues. The system gives them good opportunities. I knew we wouldn't stop yall, offense is tough. Knew we'd have to score with yall to stay in it. Hopefully it's an exciting 2nd half.
