We got I think 5 starters out as well. I'm sure yall will plug the holes with solid players and be fine.

We got about 4 or 5 that hardly ever come off the field. Will be interesting to see how we look at the start of the 4th as the temp start to rise. They've been doing it all year so they're conditioned but that heat takes it out of ya quick.

Does Lumberton start any kids both ways? Noticed that not many have both offensive and defensive positions beside their name on the roster.

Does anyone know if Lufkin ISD live streams on any platform? I'll be out of town working nights so I just might be able to stream it in its entirety before I hit that ole lease road if it's being streamed. I would imagine it should be streamed.

Yup, gonna be a hot one. And I'm sure a school with 1244 enrollment won't be running many players both ways. We on the other hand start several kids both ways. We absolutely do not have the depth that Lumberton will have. Might not be a bad idea if both coaches were to agree to move the game to a later time. 4 quarters in the high 90s is going to be rough.

Delusional? Sir, I never said anything about us winning. I realize it's an extreme uphill battle. Just hoping our boys make a good showing and come out of it as healthy as we go in. Lol, Cole is a competitor. He runs that ole "read em and feed em" offense pretty well. This will by far be the strongest and most disciplined front 7 he has seen this year. They're big on the d-line and the LBs are well coached. Ole Fite, Welch, and the rest of our OL got their work cut out for them this week. That's for sure.

Ya reckon that's gonna keep us out of a bowl game? 🤣 Technically, I think we were ranked like 12th in 3AD1 last week prior to beating 3AD2's #4 ranked West Rusk but yes, we have indeed yet to crack the top 10. Maybe we'll still be bowl eligible. Yes, yes it could very well end up being a blow out, sir. But I figure our boys will go ahead and line up and give it the "ole college try" anyways.

That statement was to mess with 89falcon lol......we knew what we were getting into when we saw it scheduled and are ok with it....win, lose, or draw. We graduated 29, got a new staff, and have implemented a new system. Went from one extreme to the other. Couple that with our enrollment of 484 to yalls 1244......and well....scheduling yall seems crazy. After realignment yall needed a game, we needed a game. And from my understanding Keeling and Reyes are buds in the coaching world. Yall haven't played a smashmouth run team and we want to keep getting better before district so It works out. I don't see where either of us could do wrong from this matchup. Good luck to yall.....hope we see a classic that's injury free.

If you don't think size matters, you're crazy. Newton swung well above their weight class and won. Impressive feat not many can pull off. We are all aware Lumberton should have the upper hand. I suppose we'll go ahead and make the trip to Lufkin and line up and play them anyways if that's OK with you.

You want us to publicly pick against our staff and boys? Umm, not gonna happen. Go find in writing where any of us have said anything other that we are up against it and hope we do well. And anyone not from Tatum that picked us ain't got nothing to do with us. Everybody understood the assignment but you I suppose. We know we are the underdog champ. Run heavy. We run the triple option. Averaging 43.8 PPG, 450 rushing yards a game. Young in the secondary on defense. If we were to pull off an upset, it would most definitely be in a shootout.

Very well could be possible. Solid squad. I'm sure we'll try to shorten the game by draining the clock. We've had a lot of success running the ball. Hopefully we can continue to do so this week.
