WOS 28 NEDERLAND 14 Jasper spanking Nederland in a scrimmage and Nederland picked to win the district?

Vidor I hope you do upset Nederland. They are getting spanked by Jasper in a scrimmage and picked to win the district? Good luck to the pirates over Nederland.

I think the bears scrimmage silsbee this next week and then scrimmage baytown lee ( I think) during week zero. There 1st game is not until the 1st Friiday in September at West Orange Stark. Then they travel to Bridge City and then close out the non district schedule at home vs Cleveland. Don't knock down the bears. This is a team that could pull off some upsets this year. I think they could possibly be 2-1 after non district play. Good luck bears and give it your best each week. Good luck to Coach Moody and his coaching staff. We are behind you all the way.

LCM vs Bridge City Old rivals meet again. Glad to see them playing each other again.

I hear we will be very competitive this year in football. Don't count the bears out. For those of you that need to be reminded of how good the athletic program is at LCM: Volleyball team went to the playoffs in 07 Boy's Basketball team had a playoff for 3rd place with Dayton Soccer team is in position to make the playoffs Baseball team is ranked number 2 in the AREA Softball team won state a few years ago and usually in the hunt for a playoff spot tennis team is doing very well Also the LCM BAND went to state this year and the only area band in 4A at state competition. (I think the only band in all classifications from this area.) If I missed a sport, I know another bear fan will add the accomplishment.

AMEN HTEXANS90 Wow that is the majority of the sports in the athletic program. LCM has a GREAT ATHLETIC PROGRAM. Regarding this year in football. the coaches play calling is to conservative and they do not like to pass.

I hear PNG'S QB is not that strong. 2 years in a row for the Bears. LCM 35 PNG 14 LCM'S DEFENSE IS SUPERB Cherokee will not be played much this Friday night.

Dayton 35 Lumberton 14 Lumberton had a very soft pre distirct schedule. That will catch up with them this Friday night.

LCM 28 CENTRAL 14 The district will see that LCM will be the early favorite and the team to beat this year. LCM will make a statement to the whole district this Friday night.

Silsbee 21 PNG 0 Indians, you will get shut out just like a green team shut you out 42-0 last year. GO TIGERS

This will be a tough district this year, and no one should take anybody lightly. LCM has not played any push over teams this year even though we are 0-2. Caney Creek went 3 rounds in the 4A playoffs last year and had one of the best qb's I have seen in a long time. WOS has there winning tradition and was in the 3A playoffs last year and is currently ranked 8th in class 3A. LCM has Central,Ozen,Dayton and Lumberton at home and that schedule will get the bears in the playoffs. My predictions: LCM,Central and Dayton and it could go anyway for the top 3 positions. 4th-Nederland 5th-PNG 6TH-Lumberton 7th-Ozen 8th Vidor As I said it will be a wide open race and no one should take anybody lightly.

Kicker, I heard you on the smack attack and kudos to you on the great comments you made not only for your team, but for LCM.

Even though the field was sloppy tonight,the orange bowl is what high school football is all about. It was a great atmosphere. Congrats to our neighbors from WOS. Now that the Orange Bowl is over, I know both teams will do very well in there own districts. WOS in 3A and LCM IN 4A. I hope they continue this rivalry, as there was a few years WOS and LCM did not play. WOS, you will win your district. LCM will be in the playoffs as the 2nd or 3rd place team. (Hopefully 1st place, but a lot of good talent in this 4A district. Hat's off to both teams.

Caney Creek went 3 rounds in the 4A playoffs last year and had most of there returning players. Great quality team played by a great quality LCM team.

I heard LCM woke up Bridge City 21-0 and had 3 touchdowns called back. Which would have been 42-0 in favor of LCM. i THING WE HAVE ALREADY DONE THE WAKING UP.

It will be like watching the PNG fans last year leaving early after a 42-0 blow out. It will be exciting southeast texas football Bear stadium will be rocking during the orange bowl. You better get there early.

LCM is going to be alright. Caney Creek went 3 rounds deep into the 4A PLAYOFFS last year, so this was a great team.

LCM 42 AND PNG 0 Who remembers the last 10 years anyway. What we remember NOW IS THE RECENT 42-O DRUBBING OF YOUR 2 GOOD RUNNING BACKS AND YOUR QUARTERBACK THAT CAN BREAK A DEFENSE APART. ??? I can remember last year watching all the purple people leaving in the 4th quarter. I'm not worried about earning your respect, when the respect was earned by the other district teams when they saw the score 42-0, in favor of LCM. Can't wait to win again.

Dream on Nederland and PNG. Both teams will be lucky if they score more than 10 points. LaMarque and Brenham are pretty loaded.
