With 3 timeouts and 2 plays to score that was not the best way to play that.

Astros fall tonight 3-2. Only 5 hits on the night. Rangers up 6-1 early in the game over the Diamondbacks.

Birds force a fumble. LU with a road win.

LU runs off 1 min and 4 seconds. Punts to Idaho with 20 seconds left. Idaho at their own 10.

Onside goes out of bounds. LU ball.

Idaho was able to get KU to give 3 and out. They then score, but clock is down to 1:24 as they get set for the onside trailing by 6.

LU holds a 13 points lead with under 7 minutes to go and just turned Idaho over in downs. Get some 1st downs Birds!!

Enjoyable game. Thought HF was going to blow it wide open and although it never really was in doubt, LCM put a fight throughout the game. Stated this 2 weeks ago and will say it again....really like the way the HF young men carry themselves. Makes them a real easy group to support. Kiddos to the LCM coach that gave his player a good gluteus maximus chewing for the world to see after a personal foul penalty.. Hope the young man learns from it. Well done sir.

Watching a pregame warm up for the first time in over 10 years. LCM doesn't lack for size. Know nothing about the athlecism of their big kids, but they sure look the part.

Many of those kids know not nor do they care anything about American football. It's simply a demographic issue. Hope the young man tgat do play still enjoy the game as it is an extremely difficult situation thetr in regards to attempting to field a quality squad. God Bless the coaches trying. Very admirable of them.

Astros are now a 1/2 game behind the White Sox for the American League's 2 seed. A 2 seed that will likely have less than 85 wins I.would assume is not the norm. Most important thing is to simply qualify for the playoffs.

11 with 30 games (15 for each team) combined is a pretty good cushion. Just need to avoid a 3 or 4 game losing streak and the Rangers not have a short heater. Don't think either team has the overall pitching to string together a long winning streak. We shall see.

I predict that getting up at 5 AM due to it being the KBMT game of the week to get my sparkle and glitter kid to school by 5:45 is going to suck!!

Other than not seeing a play clock or working game clock and the lack of an officials microphone watching this game isn’t all that odd. Being in the facility is probably quirky with no PA, clocks, advertising, etc.

Altuve entered today 4 hits shy of 2500 and picked up 3. Will likely get it on the upcoming road trip. Up and down season to say the least. Was hoping for a solid 4 game lead after the eeekend and now likely will be a 2 game lead.

6 SLC schools went on the road to get a check. All 6 were soundly beaten including LU. SFA beat East Texas in the only conference matchip. LU heads to Idaho to play in one of the few college domed stadiums next week.
