Cards win it 5-4 in 10. PHEW!!

Lamar headed to extras. Had a 4-0 lead going into the bottom of the 9th. Walked a batter and had 4, yes 4, hit batters in the 9th and UTA ties the game. Ugh!

Lamar gets beat soundly 10-2. Scored 2 in the first and had a tight game. UTA then scored 4 in the 7th and 3 in the 8th to blow it open. Back at it in Arlington tomorrow.

Lamar beats KU 4-1. Had a 3 run homer in the 7th to take the 3 run lead. Utilized 6 pitchers that gave up 1 earned run. On the road at UTA this weekend.

Birds run ruled 14-4 by UT.

Drop game 3 with a 3-2 score in 10 innings. Left a total of 37 runners on base in the 3 games. Had this same struggle at times last year. Head to Austin Tuesday and then host Kansaas in Wednesday.

Long game. LU wins it 9-7.

Lamar takes game 1 with an 8-2 score. Game 2 of the series to start in about 30 minutes. Windy day out here.

LU up 6-0 in the top of the 8th when fog leads to a suspension. Will continue at 12:05 tomorrow with game 2 of the series to follow.

Having EC on the schedule by choice. Not something that would have likely occurred in the past. Pretty admirable and shows the improvement they have made. Win, lose, or draw it's nice to see.

You of course figured they didn't opt up this cycle. However, for non-district it appears they decided to "opt down." Yep, I'm being a backside of human anatomy.

When might we start hearing about non-district schedules?

If the young man is a good student, Vanderbilt is the place to go. Not a fan of the political leanings of the institution, but a Vandrrbilt degree i a quality field can set him up really well.
