Box score posted with the online schedule now shows 2131. That seems much more accurate especially if the facility holds 3500 as "advertised." D1 and Baseball America's latest projections have the Birds headed to Starkville. We shall see if they are accurate soon.

It looked a bit larger to me as well. I pulled the number from the "notes" on gametracker.

Did it with a crowd of 1993! Nice job folks.

Yeah, what he said!

1 win from an NCAA tournament!

Fun fact. Evans hit his 1st career home run at HCU in the final regular season series. He hit #2 tonight.

First pitch in 10 minutes. Decent crowd considering the weather.

Players coming back out to the field.

Moved again. 7:35.

7:05 now.

Start pushed back to 6:30.

Stop being so negative. We need to work on your disposition.

GAME DAY!

HF drops game 1 to Robinson, 3-0.

Game 1 is posted on the Lamar schedule for 6 on Thursday. Get out there folks and support the local university. Quite sure bandwagon fans are welcome.

Could you pick up my uncle on your way?

Weather pending, all games will likely have a start time of 6.

About time! Lol.

Home sweet home!!!

1, 2, and 3 hitters to face. Ugh.

Cowboys add another with a dinger! Forgive my enthusiasm, but I have traveled to Hammond twice for tournaments. I wanna stay home this time!!!

Put a few more up and hold em, Pokes. 7-5 top of 9.

Reported attendance was 1080. Was expecting 1500 or more. That part was a bit disappointing.

Windy, fun, and now score board watching. I hear that if SELA comes back to win, Ag and my Uncle Spidey will be rooming together in Hammond.

SELA wins in 11. Both teams homered in the 11th but SELA had a 2 run shot and McNeese had a solo. Both brackets will reach the full allotment of games.
