2 FCS games went to OT today. Most others were blow outs.

I see signs for it all week on I69 by the George R Brown and have a few students doing an internship with a college sports management program. It's a really neat experience for them.

Good FCS game in the final 8 minutes on the duece. 6 of 7 (#6 Montana State lost to traditional powerhouse North Dakota State in overtime) top 8 seeds have won today with the number 4 seed playing in the present game.

I want FSU and Ohio State, just to hear the complaining.

Forget the conference comparisons for a moment. The fact that 2 conferences with so much overlapping and close proximity only plays 10 games against each other with a combined 28 schools is just sad.

Your statement of the 2 that were not champions would have likely set up the perfect scenario to tell the public. Now, they have to explain away the perfect record of FSU if that is in fact the team left out with the University of California at Austin and Alabama being the final 2.

That is the old Rangers stadium. It hosts multiple high school games. Now called Choctaw Stadium.

Sat on Huntsville side as I mentioned in a few post. To say it was thin in number would be an understatement. Would take someone that sat on the PNG side to "guesstimate" how many section they could have filled. Each section seats around 800.

NRG's lower bowl holds 26,000. PNG did bring a large number but for them to reach the 12,000 range they would have needed to fill just shy of 1/2 of the bowl. The PNG crowd filled most of the seats between the goal lines. Thus, leaving all end zone and angled corner seats empty other than those occupied by the band and drill team. Likey 7500-8500 in the PNG crowd.

Sat on Huntsville's side last night. Never, yes never do I recall noticing a fan base other than the numbers. Seeing from the opposite side was interesting. That was a sight to behold and very impressive. Not sure how to describe it other than to say again, impressive.
