Don't believe Lamar will remove Davis with 2 years remaining (I think this is accurate) on his contract. However, next year could be it. If Snedeker moves on elsewhere and pitchere with eligibility follow or go other places....next year could be a nightmare and the end of the Davis Era. For those that believe pitching was an issue, Snedeker is mentioned in quite a few articles as a candidate for the Mississippi State pitching coach. If you think we can do better in Beaumont America, we have a difference of opinion.

Dang, you sound like the Spider! Yes, that was a jab at both of you. Overall, it has been a bit disappointing, but they do have the talent to win the tournament. Personal note. While the tournament is fun, it is the IMO the worst possible way to determine the conference rep in a 1 bid conference. Week after week of conference play and then determine the rep with a few days of play is silly even though it has been around and in multiple sports for who knows how long. Lamar took 2 games in the opening series of conference from UNO. I get confused with all the times I have looked at things as well. Really doesn't matter as the 3 and 4 seeds play in the first round. Hang in there Spider, I know today's outcomes almost made you smile. You can still complain about the season overall and keep things normal in here. 😀

McNeese, AMCC, and Northwestern are now all 12-12. They are all 3-3 in the 3way head to head. No idea what the SLC next step is in the tiebreaker. This is big as 1 of the 3 will be "in the tournament" and the other 2 will face off in the 1 game play in on Tuesday.

Anyone with a prediction? I'm saying a Lamar win and 1 team losing (not bold enough to predict the team) they are tied with giving Lamar a top 5 seed. Based on Lamar's record against teams they likely tie (not studying it closely), they end up as the 5 seed if only 1 of the other tied teams does take a loss. In this conference, this year, not sure anything but the 1 seed gives much of an advantage.
