Would love to see that too. HOWEVER, not only mighty early, the strength of schedule (SOS) will hurt tremendously. Latest RPI (Boyd's World as the NCAA utilized is not updated yet to my knowledge) has LU at 41 with a SOS of 240. The SOS won't raise much or any for the remainder of the season. SLC opponents are scattered from 120 to 230 range, thus no real bump and few strong mid week teams left. Also have TSU that is very low and Alcorn with the lowest RPI (305) in the nation. A 3 seed, as a 2 seed is essentially the same for tournament design purposes, would be great. Have to agree with my Uncle Spidey on that one.

LU takes game 1 with an 8-1 score. LU brought a pretty decent fan base to Houston today. It appears they out number the HCU fans.

Yes, they have played the bottom 3 teams in the present conference standings thus far. At present LU is 2 wins shy of last year's season total and is 7-1 and sitting in first place. 20'10 overall is a good record. Can they continue to win as they move forward in conference playing better teams?

Let's play 2. LU and HCU had today's game postponed and will play a double header tomorrow starting at 11.

9-3 over PV tonight. Travel to play the fighting Berkman's this weekend. All games in the series are day games with 2:00, 1:00, and 2:00 start times. This is the first conference series. HCU pitching is quite suspect, but they do have quality offensive production.

Just looking over the weekends' box scores. How about these 2 stats?? LU pitchers strike out 28 batters and walked 1, yes just 1, in a 3 game series. 1 walk in 27 innings is tremendous at any level.

Quick game. Win 3-0 for the sweep. LU gives up 2 runs in 3 games. PV on Tuesday and open conference at HCU on Friday.

Cards take the first game today with a 5-1 final. Game 2 (3 of the series) will start at 4:20.

No kidding about really wanting to play. I'm thinking they try to play 2 tomorrow as Sunday doesn't look good. Also, I assume Pacific has a flight issue as Sunday was already scheduled for a noon rather than 1:00 start. We shall see.....
