  1. Cards dropped game 2 on Saturday, but take the rubber match today. Sit at 2-1 as the home opener is Tuesday against the Bison of North Dakota State.
  2. Cards put up 17 runs on 15 hits. Staring pitcher (Havard) went 5 giving up 1 run on 4 hits while 4 relievers pitched an inning each giving up no hits. Final 17-1.
  3. About 3 and 1/2 hours and the Cards start the 2025 season on the road at Cal State Bakersfield. Hoping for a nice start!
  4. The schedule for each team posted on their individual athletic website shows 6:00. Also, showing 6:00 on Lamar softball twitter (X). Game is sold out according to the X feed.
  5. Return 2 preseason 1st team all conference position players (catcher and 1st base). Most of the other position players will be new to the roster or guys that saw limited action. The biggest position player lost would likely be the shortstop. Lost 2 high quality weekend starting pitchers and the pitching coach to Baylor. Do return a preseason 1st team arm though. Several transfers will fill holes including a preseason 2nd team 3rd baseman. Took in over 10% of HCU's roster from last season with 5 transfers. One will likely be a starting outfielder. Not sure how much the others will contribute. Also, my Uncle Spidey and that Aggie fellow will be back to entertain us all. At leat I'm hoping for that!
  6. Sorry, but I'm not poor. Can't answer your question. My apologies.
  7. Come on now! An extremely feminine gay male should help bring back the overall Hispanic vote and definitely the black and white toxic...uh, I mean black and white heterosexual male vote. Hogg will be the savior of the party, how dare you question the decision! Did you learn nothing from the highly successful "men" for Kamala campaign? You simpleton you.
  8. Guess I'm now stupid. How dare I want knowledge of wastefulness or usefulness of how YOUR and MY dollars are spent. Sorry, for my lack of sophistication to not accept that my government knows what's best for us. I know, "sensitive data" will be the big push back. I call it a lie disguised to hide wastefulness. Only the all knowing unelected bureaucrats should have such access to protect us peons. I should just hush and trust a government that delivered me Joey B and the 7th string QB.
  9. Sounds to me like the president of a union took total credit as any other union head would. Trump played a role. I know it, you know it, and the American people know it.
  10. Ouch! Entry before 2007 is all it takes to be under the "old rule" of 80.
  11. And he is still YOUR president!
  12. No, no. You said Hispanics should vote Dem based on birth right citizenship. You implied exactly what I stated about your statement. It's "my truth!"
  13. Yes, an entire demographic group should think only as one. Thanks for playing the card that no longer plays. You realize you essentially just called every Hispanic an illegal immigrant. See, we can play the twist your words game too.
  14. About time you offer up something useful. Well done!
  15. If they did nothing wrong, even if Trump were vindictive, why the need for a pardon? If innocent, again why the need?
  16. Who wins matters not to me. Just want to see Notre Dame get the ball with a chance to win for the drama.
  17. That was a second poor job at an inauguration by the Cheif Justice. Your constant display of your intellectual hubris is cute. Carry on with your brilliance.
  18. Even for those of us that can retire at 30 years of service a 31% (69%) decrease is a pretty high drop. So, most go 35 plus regardless of the rule. At least those that started in the profession in their early 20's and didn't leave for other pursuits, as I chose to do. I will stop with the TRS discussion as this thread has stayed on topic of the BH coaching hire so extremely well. Don't want to mess that up.
  19. I'm an educated peasant. Thank you kindly.
  20. Yep. I usually utilize 35 years. Thanks! Educated I am, smart I'm not. Retirement pay would be 96,600 on a 120,000 average off of 35 not 30 years of service.
  21. You likely know it's 2.3% for each year. Just doing this for those not in TRS and wondering how it works. Older retirees (think 2005 and before) utilize 3 highest years. Ex. 30 years with a $120,000 5 year average. 30 X .023 = .805. .805 X 120000 = 96600. There is a maximum salary per year allowed by TRS for calculation. 345,000 for this school year which of course only would involve a few superintendents.
  22. Looks like he was NC State followed by the Wyoming pick. Not Wyoming, NC State, and back to Wyoming.
