With a new Coach comeing in and him not getting a true off season with his new team. Can Our Jasper Bulldogs Compete with the other team's in 18 3A man I truly hope so.

The athletic department is supposed to be presenting a coach to the school board for approval on March 31. We should know something by late next week. No one knows for sure who the finalists are. We just have to be patient and pray for a return to the old-school, smashmouth Jasper football. ;D You are right about that Smashmouth football Jasper use to run when i was there the play's i lkie was the GT Dive, and that Sweep with those type of play its fun if your on the OL man i miss those day.GO BULLDOGS

I think they had some good young players on the varsity. RB Ben Armstrong was only a Soph as I remember. Jasper has a good group of RB. coming back that why i think a more running style game plan is needed with a few pass in there just to mix things up a little bit

Jasper really need's a coach that is going to stay around for more than just two are three years. It's hard to win when you keep changeing coach's. It's going to be something to see who Jasper can get for the new head coach.I really miss those year's when we just beat the break's off of team even before we got off the bus.We have not put that type of fear in team's in sometime.

My wife is a Newton Grad. and she told me that Jonston is a hard nose coach. And if he's the choice for the new Head Coach will that mean Jasper will run more of a Newton style Off.
