i wish these teams the best but the problem is, these 3 teams out of the district might be good enough to be second round playoff teams and win in the first round, but they get a bye in the first round so we will never know if they are truly a second round team, but another huge problem is that none of these teams in the district are 3rd round teams especially after setting out a week nothing against the rebels but i have seen a whole lot of football in my years and yes anything can happen but evadale is not a 3rd round playoff team you not only have to be disciplined and play with tons of heart which evadale does you also have to be very athletic and execute perfectly to make it to the 3rd round, and i just don't see this evadale team as that team

Looks like NW was looking ahead to basketball season and didnt have thier heads in it because i thought this would have been a much closer game

blocking brey will be tougher than you think this kid is not only the highest jumper in Setx probably top 10 highest jumpers in the state

when i was in High school if you didn't play football they didn't put you in athletics you were in P.E, because it was the same time as the athletic period, then once football season was over and basketball started they put you in athletics and the coaches said the reason why is because every coach, coached football and therefore they didn't have anyone free to watch the kids that didn't play football, but that being said when i was in high school our basketball team won 2 district titles and made a trip to the regional finals

Yes 32 is a good player but i don't think he lead the team in tackles but even if he does # 30 Cody Letsinger was the best Defensive player on a pretty good Oilers D and I'm sure everyone from over in oiler land would agree with me i saw him play a couple of times this year and he was as good as anyone on the Defensive side of the ball other than when i watched #6 from Burkville play he was a stud

as of late they have had a few kids playing football, but i know they used to not play football they had the round ball in thier hands year around that is why they are known throughout the state as a small school basketball powerhouse.

lets not get carried away 55 the bobcats might have been a little better with all of thier starters but i still do not think yall would have beaten Evadale or colmisniel

Silsbee they have the better team. Yes i know HJ fans they had the better team last year but lightning doesn't strike twice in the same place its silsbee's district this year

Spurger will be to much they have the most dominant player in the district in Whittaker on their team and arguably the next best player in the district. when you combine that with a maybe the second best coach in the district behind Jason Henry at HD they have to be the favorites don't get me wrong i think that SP has a good team just not at the caliber of spurger but i could be wrong I'm just going off of last year

i kind of think it hurts them because a lot of times when you have a week off you come out flat and evadale cant afford that because if they do they could see colmesneil jump out to an early lead and with thier running game evadale would be in trouble

i agree neither team really really dominated anyone. there were only two good offensive drives in the whole games HD's was when they drove the ball down to the 2 and their runningback fumbled, that drive WH couldn't stop them they just got lucky that the back fumbled, and for WH it was their 80 yard scoring drive that came off of that fumble other than that neither team look impressive on offense because WH could move the ball and kept giving HD great field position and then HD could score on that great field position

WH should have won this game if it wasn't for that one snap over the punters head that gave HD the ball on the ten i don't believe HD would have scored

this game should'nt be close unless EC is looking ahead to the playoffs but they should stell win by 3+ touchdowns
