i know for a fact that in 02, 03, 04, 05, WH did not play a weak 1A unless you count evadale or a private school for preseason. but aside from that would you rather play WOS JV or BH JV who are better teams with better athletes than those teams that HD schedules like galveston oconnel or danbury who are terrible teams

this is wrong WH has only played JV's the last few years and what is the difference in WH playing 3a public schools JV's when HD schedules small private schools every year? and Who cares if they played JV teams those years that they played JV teams they beat HD so you cant hate on thier schedule it seems to get them in the playoffs the last 7 years

i heard today that the kountze and WH scrimmage ended in a tie neither team scored but WH droped a wide open pass in the endzone which would have been the only touchdown. word is that the D looked awsome for WH, only giving up a couple of first downs to kountze.

its funny to me how all these evadale are arguing about speed from Evadale nothing against evadale they just don't have much speed no matter who their fastest guy is

didn't they win or play in the state game about 2 or 3 years ago i haven't really followed them but don't they usually field a pretty good team?

will Legacy be down this year of will they have a legitimate team ?

Yes, Hull - Dasietta did beat the dog out of High Island last year (62 - 0), but the West Hardin game was a good one (36 - 22, fourteen point difference). So I don't see how West Hardin killed them last year. And add in the fact that High Island lost to Evadale by fourteen points also (34 - 20). Copeland did all the damage in the West Hardin game (he accounted for all of the WH td's), and like stated early in this topic High Island played Evadale well for two and half quarters. I think the Cardinals may make some people think this year, they may be on the outside looking in, but don't overlook them at all. ya but the game agianst WH was close on the scoreboard but it was never close Copleland didnt play the whole 4th quarter and two of those touchdowns were on the JV, West Hardins varsity didnt play the whole 4th quarter and some of the 3rd

HI doesn't have a chance might be a little improved but WH and HD killed them last year and HI won't improve enough to close the gap between them and the top 3 teams in the district

trust me i know football played for 8 years 4 years on varsity and 2 of those years i was all-state. that being said i never once ran a 40 in highschool that was'nt hand timed every 40 that these kids run are hand times from the coaches, the difference between a 4.4 and 4.6 is nothing and alot of these coaches stop it early or start it late so saying that these kids run true 4.4 is crazy Reggie Bush runs a 4.4 and i promise you he would leave any kid in this area standing still on the football field.

you must be keith because you keep talking about this guy and i dont even remember him from last year and i was 3 games that HD played in the main player that i remember from HD was Cook. He was the only beast i saw from the team last year

does anyone know of any adult basketball leagues in the area?

so if devin does come back to kountze will he be playing football for them or will he just stick to basketball like most of the other really good athletes at kountze?

Nobody in this district running a 4.4 that is olympic speed. How many 4.4 did you see at the NFL Combine. just because someone is fast does not mean anything in high school football they also have to be big and skilled. Adriane Anderson from HD was one of the fastest guys in SETX but he didn't make much of an impact on the football field.

i am looking forward to the Silsbee vs. WOS game. maybe silsbee can take the district championship from WOS which has not been done since WOS has dropped to 3A if im not mistaken

So in my openion that means that Burkville has a better football tradition than HD so HD55 you are telling me since Burkville has the bast football tradition in the district that means they are going to win the district?

What team in SETX has played in the most state championship games?

well if HD is so dominant then why do they only have 1 state championship and that was a lifetime ago. HD's football program cant even be mentioned in the same sentence as WOS, Newton, and Jasper, heck not even with Burkville because all of these schools year in and year out make deep runs in the playoffs and occasionally win the big one, Hull with the exception of 20 years ago very very seldom make it out of the first round. I wouldn't call that dominant

i think that the WH, Evadale game and the WH, HD and the Evadale, HD game's should all be very interesting maybe each team will beat the other and we will have a tri district championship this year

what happend to nederland from the way the nederland fans talked i thought they were supposed to be able to compete for the district crown this year did they have all of thier players
