Yeah, good HS player. Especially at that level. But D1 is a big stretch. Not seeing an elite athlete either. Wish him nothing but the best though is his quest to continue his career at the next level.

There is a lot of talent in the JUCO level. Most of those there are grade casualties. A year or two back, I would have taken Lamar Pt Arthur over Lamar University all day. He would best be served finding something at the DII level. It's all about size and quickness. Garth has a much bigger frame than Bullock.

Tell you what a coach can do when they are up 50+ points. They can work on their half court sets, work on different defenses, etc. Because I bet there will be a time when your press isn't getting it done in the playoffs, and you wished you were a little better in the half court. But everyone one has a different philosophy. I wouldn't want or expect anyone's mercy in any sport. Play hard and see what happens.

BC 7th grade group is having a good season. Only losses are to Silsbee (missing 2 of their best) and at HJ. Fun group to watch. They also won the Port Neches tourney.
