Just like you had this crazy feeling he was enrolled in Summer II??? We will see if he magically regains eligibility for the Fall semester. I hope he does because I think he has the ability to help this year, even with all of that talent ahead of him. BTW, that was a good preview Shorttexas. Only thing I disagree with is I think Jordan Hamilton will play a bigger role than what your preview suggests. He's tall and athletic with a natural scoring ability. Can't wait for them to get the season going.

Well WORD IS...is wrong. He is NOT enrolled at the University of Texas for Summer II, and we will just have to see if he is able to enroll in the Fall. People need to quit spreading rumors that he's enrolled when he is not.

Bottom line is you gave bad info. He IS NOT enrolled at the University of Texas. And if he's working out with the team, then thats a violation of NCAA rules. Hell some other poster just said he's back in Pt. Arthur now. No way he's enrolled in Summer II classes and hanging out in PA. There are many University of Texas fans anxiously awaiting his arrival to school. He just wouldn't secretly be taking classes at UT and practicing without anyone in Austin knowing about it.

What do you mean WAS in summer classes? The Summer II session is in full swing right now. If he's in town, then he's definitely NOT in summer classes. So he may have went to Austin and stayed a little while, but he's not enrolled in school (at least from the info y'all are giving). If he's enrolled, then what's he taking? What teacher does he have? I would like to believe he is really enrolled, but I very highly doubt it given what we know about the situation.

As a Texas Longhorn fan, I'm very interested in the J'covan situation, as are many other fans. They should have a super class coming in this year with or without J'covan. But all this mind you business stuff is ridiculous. And it seems that Mr. Vitale gave some bad info on the Brown situation also. There are people in the know on the UT message boards who say J'covan IS NOT enrolled in classes for Summer II. I just wish someone with some real info would enlighten us. If I had to guess, I would say he is still waiting to get through the clearinghouse process. But of course I don't pretend to know like Dickie V.

What's the eye roll for Bluedove? Are you saying they can't make a deep run if everyone makes it to campus in Austin? I'll bet you they start the year in the top 6, if Hamilton qualifies regardless of Brown. How much can you afford to lose?

UT fans are still waiting to know the status of Brown, as well as the highly recruited Jordan Hamilton. If they both somehow make it to campus along with incoming freshman Avery Bradley, then Texas could make quite a run this year in the tournament.

So you are saying Rasheed will not play the 5 spot all year long? Yeah okay. Part of the reason he was attractive to Boston is that he can play the 4 or 5 spot. But what do those NBA analysts know, right? You are probably right in saying that he will come off the bench though. Perk is young and on the upswing, while Rasheed is in the twilight of his career. Although Wallace is still very talented (more than Perk in his prime), at this stage in his career he is a complimentary player.

Where to begin on this? First off I'm not a Bulldog fan, so my view is not slanted at all towards Ned. But they have the best inside duo coming back in the district with Donte Foney and Kelvin Smith, and its the best by a healthy margin. And they're only going to be juniors. Second, they have several others coming back from varsity that logged significant minutes. Third, their junior varsity beat every team in the district last year at least once, including your untouchables Central and Ozen. Also, didn't Nederland beat Central's varsity last year as well? Pretty sure they did. Like I said earlier, I'd love to be wrong on this, but I don't think I am. I think they'll be the best team in the district next season. Ozen lost some really big parts to their team last year, including the hoss in the middle, and arguably their best guard (by their own fan's admissions). We'll see how good Franks is this season without the big man in the middle to control the game on defense. And thats if he comes back to Ozen. Central will be tough. They always are. But I just think Nederland has more coming back. And the ones comiing back are very good. Now that I've said my peace, I need to go take a shower because I feel dirty talking up the Bulldogs so much.

Don't yap about LSU's schedule, and how easy Texas had it when the numbers (RPI) don't back you up. If you're going to argue a point, ie. tougher schedule, then at least do your homework and look it up first.
