For his efforts, he has been named the Aeropostale Men's Basketball Player of the Week in the Southland Conference. Following is a look at his performances for the week. He shot 44 percent (22-50) from the field and 65.6 percent (21-32) from the free throw line. Davis had 14 points and six rebounds in Lamar's loss at Texas A&M. He recorded his first double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 rebounds vs. Saint Louis. He scored a season-high 35 points and grabbed seven rebounds in Lamar's win over Louisiana Tech. His 35 points set a new Reed Arena record, surpassing the old mark of 34 shared by Bernard King of Texas A&M and Eddie House of Arizona State. He was named to the all-tournament team. Defense is alot better than last year. Wimberely had SEVERAL like that.

He may have a couple of long runs this week but he AIN'T going to run all over the WOS Defense. You should see what Coach Thompson has the D doing every morning this week. just trust me it AIN'T going to happen.

No, they lost 4 district games in a row toward the end of the season.
