Lamar falls to SFA in volleyball BEAUMONT - The Stephen F. Austin volleyball team knocked off Lamar 3-0 on Saturday evening at the Montagne Center. Advertisement The Lady Cardinals fell to 9-15 overall and 5-4 in the Southland Conference, dropping the three games 30-23, 30-19, 30-23. SFA is now 20-3 and 9-0. Lamar was coming off a win over Sam Houston on Friday night at the Montagne Center. Lamar was led by Buchi Okoh's nine kills. Adrianne Meengs had 25 assists and 15 digs. Stephen F. Austin was led by Lauren Railey's 18 kills. The Lady Cardinals play again Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. against McNeese State at the Montagne Center.

Close indeed. The reason being...Central's at home. Also the fields will be wet again from Wednesday and Thursday's rain next week.

Deweyville has had some great ones.

This is another game like Silsbee. Reason being...Jasper matches up well with WOS speed wise. Like Silsbee in my opinion. This game will probably be closer than most think because of that.

This will most likely decide the final playoff spot.
