  17. Saturday: The Bridge City Cardinal Cross Country Teams competed at the McNeil Invitational in Round Rock on October 7. In a field of 344 runners the boys finished 25th out of 36 teams: Ryan Kelly 15th 17:04, Timothy Cude 88th 18:31, Dustin Chappell 115th 18:58, Mark Virva 198th 21:02, Mitchell Robinson 210th 21:26, Jeremy Culp 221st 22:28. In a field of 293 runners the girls finished 27th out of 32 teams: Morgan Broussard 42nd 12:54, Jessica Garza 92nd 13:27, Erica Garza 148th 14:06, Ariel Chesson 156th 14:11, Lisa Huynh 179th 14:32, Melissa Pittman 189th 14:52, Sarah Fontenot 190th 14:55.
