Soriano hit his 40th double, stole his 41st base and scored a run. With 45 homers, he already was only the fourth major league player with 40 homers and 40 steals in a season. "Personally, those are good numbers," he said. "I am happy with the way that I've been playing now that my family and fans are very proud of me. Home Runs = 46 Double ..... = 41 Steals ...... = 41 Talk about an "OFFENSIVE MACHINE" ... and the 95 rbi's would have been higher IF the Nationals had more base runners in front of him this season. That's a career-type year!!!

Nigel Dawes' unassisted goal early in the third period broke a tie and ensured the Rangers' third win in three preseason games. Dawes scored at the 2:16 mark, just 11 seconds after Ari Vallin scored to pull Florida into a 2-2 tie. Prucha scored his first goal at 6:59 of the first, off assists from Brendan Shanahan and Fedor Tyutin, and made it 2-1 at 14:05 of the second on a play set up by Thomas Pock and Marek Malik. Florida's Steve Montador opened the scoring at 2:12 of the first. Al Montoya and Stephen Valiquette split time in goal for the Rangers.
