Julie Mason had 13 kills, 2 blocks; Tiara Lexie had 6 kills, 1 block, 4 aces; Anslee Teal had 7 kills; Morgan Blohm had 3 kills, 1 block, 4 aces; Christine Sicktich had 4 kills, 20 assists; Kandice Prescott had 3 aces, 19 assists; Krsiti Trahan had 1 kill, 2 aces; Shayna Sheppard 1 kill 13 digs.

Carthage is a Ranked 3A team that has been blowing people out. One more rough week for Newton then things will be fine.

I did see that QB Hazelwood to WR Musgrove for Kirbyville went for 99 yards.

I've said it several times. The new Coach is a great coach no doubt about it. Great man great coach. He knows football. It's nice that Lumberton is 3-0 and i'm glad he's got them headed in the right direction. I wish nothing but the best for Lumberton. All i'm saying is this is a very tough district. I've seen some of these teams play and it won't be easy for Lumberton this year in District. They will get better each year under him and their time will come.

Don't let the loss to Buna get you down. They are a big 2A School with more size and depth.
