  1. Highest Scoring Football Game Just curious but what is the highest scoring football game (11 man) that you have been a part of?
  2. I think we should move this to the School pride forum, what's Ya think!
  3. Your right about that. The fans are so much different here than alot of places.
  4. Diana Taurasi sets WNBA Scoring Record! She has done magnificient in the WNBA in just her second year here scoring a record 47 points against Houston as Phoenix won a close one 111 to 110 in 3 OT. It still gives Phoenix a chance to get into the playoffs and keeps Houston who has needed just to win one game in the last three loses from cinching a playoff spot. Hopefully Houston will get out of that slump quickly as playoffs are coming. You hate to see the great performance come against Houston but it is a great accomplishments and she might have scored more had she not fouled out but it is great that she is no longer at the University of Connecticut and is instead in the desert. A magnificient performance indeed by no doubt the best female basketball player (in the opinion of many) to ever play the game. Congratulations Diana!

  6. Thursday, August 10th...last day of camp for us...and our ISDN line is up and ready to go! 11:00am-Sad moment in camp, my son Craig's best friend, Nic Gregory is on his way to Burbank Airport for his return to Tyler. I can't speak for Nic, but I have a feeling this has been a wonderful experience for him. We put him to work, and he responded when needed. Nic did have one criticism of my daily prep-work...telling me, "Mr. Smoak, you sure do spend a lot of time monitoring the UT websites, and not enough time on those Aggie websites (Nic's an A&M fan)." 11:30am-Bill Parcells press conference 12:15pm-Jerry Jones held an impromptu press conference today, discussed most of the same issues we've heard throughout camp...talked about his excitement over Tony Romo...and when asked if he knew T.O. enough to know for sure he's telling the truth about his hamstring...Jerry responded, by saying he's confident in everything T.O. is telling the team...and has no reservations about the injury. 2:00pm-Practice 2:07pm-Sports Talk...scheduled guests (depending on ISDN line): *Cowboys owner and general manager, Jerry Jones *Cowboys QB Drew Bledsoe *Cowboys kicker Mike Vanderjagt *Cowboys RB Keylon Kincade We'll also interview Tyler Lee wide receiver Jacob Amie on his decision to play college football in the Big XII, Texas A&M athletic director Bill Byrne...plus open-line discussion on the Big XII, high school football, and the Rangers hammer the A's...but is it too little, too late?
