Well there not slow. I wouldn't call them the fastest team in the District but they have a few kids that can move.

I agree! I can see the UIL's point to though. Some Schools wouldn't have enough kids to do it if they were in other Sports at the time.

I feel the same way. I would rather start early in August then have to wait. Some Coaches feel different though.

The debate is where in a 3a school you might have 30 people on a team, and a possibility of half of them being on the baseball team. This is not as worried about with 4a, and 5a schools due to numbers. I do believe all teams in any classification should have the choice just as the top end schools.
