Gosh, there have been several. Probably the Class 4A State Championship victory over McKinney in 1986 in the Dome. That was the year McKinney had the beast Randy Simmons and the Stangs D was about the only team to stop that train all year.

Dickerson won a 519VX Ranger powered by a Yamaha outboard plus $10,000 cash. Dickerson concentrated his efforts around boat docks fishing for largemouths. He used a 1/4-ounce white jig on 20-pound-test line to catch bass suspending under the docks. With one event to go, Dickerson moved up to number 11 in the Central points standings.
