Youknow all about that over in Dan Hooks Stadium don't you Coop!
True that. That's what was sent to Orange last Friday. Just horrible.

[Hidden Content] KALLIE NEUTZLER Posted: Wednesday, October 6, 2010 10:01 am | Updated: 1:04 pm, Wed Oct 6, 2010. BY ROSEMARY SMITH, Examiner editor | 0 comments Grimes County Sheriff's Office Investigator John Wren said Navasota High School junior Kallie Neutzler, who died following a single gunshot wound to the abdominal area this morning, may have taken her own life. "At the moment, it appears to be a suicide. The official cause of death will depend on results from the autopsy," said Investigator Wren, who is leading the investigation, along with Lt. Blake Jarvis. Sheriff Don Sowell said Navasota police notified the Sheriff's Office of a shooting at the 8002 Chickasaw residence at 6:24 a.m., after family members discovered the 16-year-old Rattler cheerleader in a bedroom. Ten minutes later, St. Joseph EMS arrived and began treating the victim before transporting Neutzler to the College Station Medical Center. Neutzler succumbed to her injuries at 7:16 a.m. Her body has been sent to Southwest Forensic Center in Austin for an autopsy. NISD Communications Coordinator Scott Powers said no other details are being released at this time, as the student was a minor. This is the second death the students have been hit by in the past 6 months, as they lost fellow student and senior Emmanuel Sanchez to a firearm that was reportedly "dry fired" and pointed at the victim's chest in April. Counselors from all NISD campuses are at the high school assisting students with the loss. "We have also reached out to the Region VI Education Center for assistance with counseling for the next day or two," said Powers.
I think it says alot for the character of the players, coaches, and all involved in the WOS program that this game was played. I was told that it was discussed to not play this game and wait until district 21-3A play begun. Regardless of the outcome I think it would be hard to critisize any aspect of the WOS team at this point. Lets face it, to me it did not look near like the team that I witnessed against Friendswood, but there will be improvement. This team has been through alot the past two weeks and should be commended for how they have handled the adversity.
I agree, good post. It WASN'T near the team, there is a new QB! A Sophomore that WILL improve each week!!!

The new QB Sophomore Salter WILL continue to improve each week, he did a good job tonight.
he will be on point by playoff time IMO .......he needs to learn not to force passes and he will be ok.
“I thought Jimmy played well, especially in the second half,†said Hooks. “He’s just a sophomore and we know we’re going to have to give him time. You could see his confidence grow in the second half. He’s going to get better each and every week, just wait and see. We have a lot of confidence in him.â€
Although it will probably cost me Karma I am going to go ahead and say what I want to say and let the cards fall where they may. Wos fans were great, Players showed alot of heart and played a good game. I was suprised we did not catch a penalty on the TD catch but the ref was right there and he did not call it. There was alot of holding that never got called and that laderal was dropped so once again the reffs made mistakes on both sides of the ball. Now heres where I stick my hand in the wasp nest. As much respect those boys (on both sides) and LCM and all of the fans showed. Dan Hooks and all of the coaching staff at WOS should be embarrassed by their behavior. One coach actually ran on the field jumped up and down and through his clip board down. They were on the field screaming most of the game. He would have been ejected from most any other field in the area. His team showed sportsman ship and control where him and his staff did not. There were calls I am sure he did not like and the same for the Cats. IMO he showed very poor judgment on how to handle things when your not happy with how they are going. Smite me if you want but I think the bad Karma should go on Hooks.
You would have been on the field to if you would have been hosed that bad.
Absolutely the worst no call on offensive pass interference by Kirbyville!! That first touchdown was gift wrapped by the back judge!! Unbelievable that no penalty was called!! I watched it from the sideline and it was as bad as you could ever see!! Should be 7-0 WOS. But that's what you get when you get officials from Houston!
One of the worst i've ever seen!

Should be a good one.
