I did hear that. I also heard that more than half of the teams Dayton has played have done the same thing (as they are 2-3). I know that WO-S did it when they had their best player in. Are you bragging about beating a crippled 2-3 team? Good luck, broncos. I'm rooting for ya.

Ditto to you. Enjoy y'all's success, and keep it going once this season ends. It's nice to see the 4A district with so many teams who have a legit shot at the district title. I have in-laws in Lumberton who are Raider crazy. This weekend, one told me, "Hope WO-S doesn't have to play Lumberton," (trying to get a rise out of me ). I said, "You'd better hope." Good luck. I know many of these posts are jokes. Just keep a level head about success and don't push it. Baby steps. Y'all have done really well this year, and no team is unbeatable for you. Win them all, make the playoffs, win a few and come back next year and DO THE SAME. Only then will respect really start to filter in. I'll be rooting for you.

Lucky? That made me smile. Your players were scared, fumbling, running the wrong way, puking on the sidelines. Ours were P##sed off and hungry. You got outplayed, outmatched, outskilled and outcoached. Even your head coach said that "WO-S came in here and whipped our little butts." You are a funny dude!

See ya in Week 11 As much as I think 21-3A's strength vs. 22-3A's weakness is ridiculous, it's better than the wacked-out, LSD-trip-induced "enrollment-based districting" that the UIL is apparently considering.

WO-S is third in enrollment in the district. If it means anything, though, we're on an 11-game winning streak against the teams in that district (plus Silsbee), including the district champs each of the last three years.

Probably EC or Newton all-around, but the WO-S D is the best overall unit. We're young and growing on offense, so some aspects of our attack are not what they will eventually be - particularly through the air. Our ground game is great and I have no doubt that Hypo and his receivers will come together (already are to a degree). The defense is the best we've had since 2000, and that is saying a LOT.

I'm not from Silsbee, and Liberty was far, far from upsetting us last year.

Cleveland (0-5) has a shot? Wow. I would think Liberty, but I don't know that district all that well. If it's Cleveland, Coldspring and Splendora, you're looking at a combined 4-11 as of halfway. I don't see any of those three beating WO-S, Silsbee, Kirbyville or Jasper. Cleveland already lost to Kville by 27 and HJ by 8. Liberty lost convincingly to HF and Kville, and only beat BC (arguably our weakest team) by three.

Definitely. I'll say this: Can Silsbee upset WO-S? Yep. Can HF upset Silsbee? Yep. One game at a time.

Frankly, he looked awful against PN-G, going 3-of-13 for 40 yards and 4 INTs. The PN-G defense is solid, but I don't think they're as aggressive or dominant as that of WO-S.

Anything can happen, shooter, but it will take more than it took to put 55 on BC. The Stangs will be fired up, chief. Should be fun, boss.

People made a big deal out of WO-S losing to them by three points, and WO-S is 3A. Cuero was ranked above us.

Looks fine to me. Only one team with a loss is ahead of us, and they're a half game up in the W column.
