  1. S, you know there were no problems back when we were in 6th They started about eight years ago. I give up
  2. Well censored censored fuck fuck shit fuck shit fuck.
  3. Surely no lady would make a big entrance at another lady's anniversary bash, right?
  4. Ummm...Depauldrick Garrett touched the ball 184 times last year for about 1,500 yards. That's a grand total of 15 more touches than Earl and Jacoby (our two 06 D1s) COMBINED. He had about 300 more total yards than Earl and 600 more than Jacoby. He's still on the team. This 90 percent crap is obviously off the top of your head. DPG is still on the team. There's your answer. Against LC-M, the Bears couldn't stop the Power I. DPG and his brother Quinny were running it down their throats at 6 to 8 yards a pop. Halfway through the drive, we switch back to the spread. Is that not the call of the OC? I've been to pretty much every WO-S game since the start of the 85 season. I've seen the problems with playcalling. You caught "a few games" last year? Congrats. Did you see the one where we had first and goal at the two and threw a pass twice and some gadget play before finally trying a QB sneak (with a 6'5 QB) FROM THE SHOTGUN ON FOURTH DOWN? Please. Our OC is a nice guy. It just so happens that our playoff streak ended the year he was hired - and we missed four years of the playoffs since. That's after only missing once since 1985, and that was because of a DQ, not losses. Had it not been for the DQ, our streak would have been 14 straight seasons. That was the same year (99) that our offensive production petered out and we had to fight and scratch with pure athletic ability for every point - many coming from the defense.
  5. But, then, you have little idea what you're talking about. I see at least 10 WO-S games a year. I'd guess you see maybe one. Our OC has been a thorn in our side for the better part of a decade, and our defense under Thompson (plus great athletes on offense) have bailed us out. Now that the Foremans are gone, it's hurting us more than before. The playcalling is ridiculous. Unless you can point out something to refute our claims of pitiful playcallin, butt out. ;D
  6. I agree. I do see Kville second. They are playing pretty well.
  7. Our offensive coordinator needs to leave. He's a nice guy, but he's hurting us - and has been for about eight years. Without him, I can't imagine where we'd be. there's no doubt in my mind we would've gone farther EVERY YEAR than we did. We hadn't missed the playoffs (besides a DQ in 92) in 13 YEARS before he came. Since, we've missed them four times. That's four times in his eight years. Stupid playcalling is shooting yourself in the foot. Please bring back Toby and PROMOTE him to OC.
  8. I figured we'd beat the bears, but wouldn't have been shocked at 1-2, so we're ok. It sucks to break a regular season streak, but better now than later (fingers crossed). The D looks really, really tough. That's always been our trademark, so we should be solid. Kudos to the Chain Gang on a great game (six QB sacks PLUS one forced QB fumble).
  9. WO-S SHOULD win the 3A district. We ended pre-district 2-1 against 4A opponents - none of them pushovers.
  10. Sacks negated all rushing yards for BC - ended up with 0. WO-S outgained them, but not on the scoreboard. Still, it's not THAT bad, considering it's a rivalry game against a traditionally strong 4A team. WO-S needs to cut down on the turnovers. It's been a while since we've had this many in a SEASON, much less in pre-district. The pick in the end zone early on really hurt.
  11. Damn. First regular season loss since 04. The D played STRONG though, so I'm not too upset. BC is a very strong team that has barely lost their first two, and have a few D1 players. We'll be fine. Glad to have a wakeup before it's elimination - finally.
  12. It's been a really good rivalry since the late 90s, actually.
  13. Offense is very young and raw, but the D for WO-S is strooooong.
  14. The defense is really playing well. They gave up the one big pass, but have five sacks (including a forced fumble by the QB). The BC QB can really sling the ball, but the coverage has been great other than the one score. WO-S outgained BC 159 to 113 in the first half, but that means nothing when you're 2 down on the scoreboard.
  15. That's a surprise. Kashmere is usually a pushover. Then again, LC usually is too. Sounds like a tight game.
  16. I don't think we're a "power I team" either. It would have been nice to use it when it was working, but not to switch to it as our base offense. Has there been a switch, or are you just concerned about the fan rumblings?
  17. DISCLAIMER: BOJO fans, please take this with a grain of salt. It is just for a chuckle. No disrespect is intended, I just thought it would be fun. PN-G: PNGOJO! WO-S: Mu-merica's Team Nederland: N-E-D-S, NEDS! NEDS! NEDS! (chant) Newton: The Purple Person Eaters Central: The Wrecking Group defense Ozen: OOJO! Bridge City: The Cardinal Pound (fans) Dayton: The Steel Drape defense Lumberton: ROJO! Memorial: Disasterday Defense Jasper: JOJO! Hardin-Jefferson: The Dusty Birds Hamshire-Fannett: The Frightsome Foursome Kirbyville: KOJO! Silsbee: Monsters of the Midroad (or TOJO) Orangefield: Orange Crunch Vidor: The P Men Any others? If I left some out, please contribute.
  18. Congrats PN-G on breaking the point drought in convincing fashion! Did they switch out of the spread, or did it just click?
  19. GO WOJO! (MU-MERICA'S TEAM!)
  20. Just wait until ROJO meets DOJO, NOJO, PNGOJO, JOJO, OOJO and BOJO! ;D
  21. It will be closer because Dayton is hobbled, but I still see the Broncs pulling it out easily. Then again, Lumberton will be beefed up and ready after a game against East Texas Powerhouse Monster Dynasty CLEVELAND
