  1. He played fairly well, but if it sets back his recovery at all, it was a bad decision. He's the best player on y'all's team, and a non-district game (especially one that ended in a shutout loss anyway) was not the place for him to test it.
  2. More interesting, but still not too good. 5-8 is a convincingly losing record, dude. Here's a full history: 1977: 19-15 WOS 1978: 21-14 WOS 1979: 13-3 Ned 1980: 40-8 WOS 1981: 7-0 WOS 1982: 7-3 WOS 1983: 20-13 WOS 1984: 23-0 WOS 1985: 35-13 WOS 1986: 28-10 WOS 1987: 35-7 WOS 1988: 41-20 WOS 1989: 42-36 WOS 1990: 55-0 WOS 1991: 41-7 WOS 1992: 34-7 WOS 1993: 33-28 WOS 1994: 32-22 WOS 1995: 41-14 WOS 1996: 34-12 Ned 1997: 20-17 WOS 1998: 36-9 WOS 1999: 35-7 Ned 2000: 21-10 WOS 2001: 35-0 Ned 2002: 42-21 Ned 2003: 18-14 Ned 2004: 32-30 WOS 2005: 20-10 WOS Cumulative score: WO-S 740, Ned 470 Average score: WO-S 26, Ned 16 Record: WO-S 23, Ned 6 Heck, there's your problem: Get your QB out on defense! I didn't realize his injury resulted in your D's collapse. If they accounted for that much O on a short field, it's even more disappointing.
  3. um. Sorry. Never heard of it. Is this foreign?
  4. heck, let's just compare our head-to-head record. It's 24-5, as far as I know, in our favor. Bahoo. What's the title of this thread? I thought it was about LCM/WO-S. Go gloat over your win against a pitiful little Forest Brook team. I'll watch your games against LC-M and Dayton with great interest.
  5. um... We've been to the finals four times. We didn't lose by nearly as much in the finals as y'all did last year in the second round. When were y'all last in the finals? Ohhhh... I remember your big success when you barely lost to Bay City (who we beat that year). Congrats on being proud of a less-than 40 percent margin of success against us while at the pinnacle of your program's success. Apparently, we've lived up to the hype quite a few times. Two titles, four finals, five semifinals in just 30 years - that's reaching the semis every six years. Y'all haven't won an outright DISTRICT title since my dad was 10 (and I'm over 30). Boo.
  6. It was a little LC slanted at the start (guess they expected them to win), but well done overall. Champions find a way to win. Period. Go Stangs.
  7. ALLABOUTSTATE - we missed an XP, but didn't lose to friggin Liberty. Yeah, we've also beaten the district champ (first place team) from your district every year since dropping to 3A. (Last year, Dayton 9-26 vs. WO-S, 35-7 vs. Ned/ LC-M 14-35 vs. WO-S, 12-15 vs. Ned) When good old 22-4A can send somebody down who can beat a 3A team, let us know. Hasn't happened yet. The winner of your district has lost to us every year since we left you. Boo. It's nice for you guys that Neumann is just a moderate loser against our little ol' team. Congrats on being almost within reach of mediocrity against us. And the one year we went out in the first round in 3A, we beat Nederland. But hey, CONGRATS on your 38 percent winning percentage against us under Neumann. IMPRESSIVE!
  8. More than half of our kids do it year-in and year-out. Conditioning is the problem. We have 22 total kids suited out, and most are (as usual) two-way starters. Still, we've been undefeated against 22-4A teams since dropping to 3A - including wins over every district champ of that district since we left. I realize that PN-G players aren't used to playing both ways, but too many schools do it for it to be a real excuse. I'm rooting for the Indians.
  9. Yeah, those are the "official" stats, but we fumbled at LEAST three times - including one on the muffed punt and one on Garrett's long run after the catch. But oh well. We found a way to win. On the local show on 560 with the drunk-sounding guy, he asked if we were going to be satisfied with last-minute heroics every week. My answer is this: I'll take 16 weeks of last-minute heroics any year. It's certainly better than the alternative - last-minute collapses.
  10. Just checked the stats. Kudos to the WO-S D in the second half. LC-M had 111 yards in the first half and 132 for the whole game (21 in the second half).
  11. With Green sounding like he's possibly done this year for Dayton, I'd call the two about even.
  12. What a joke. BH sucks at everything - especially football. You got beat by a rebuilding Jasper team. YES! Y'all aren't even good at predicting. That's easy to fix. BH = LOSERS. Pick the opponent. Then you'll look good at something. All those high-dollar facilities and nothing but pitiful products. Shame.
  13. Our OC is the deal. Thank God for kids at WO-S with heart and talent. They've gotten us through almost a decade of awful offensive decisions by HIM.
  14. YES! CONGRATS, DOGS! BHFan and Jody, don't you guys EVER get tired of being wrong? ;D
  15. Congrats on the "moral victory." : LC is much improved this year, though. I was impressed. They have a shot at that district. Dayton was more impressive when they were up, but not consistent. Good job, LC. This was "the year," though, if it was going to happen soon. Next year, WO-S will be LOADED - especially at the skill position. DPG's little brother is (sorry) quite possibly even better than he is. It was a fun game. Props to LC on a hard-fought game (but not on that incredibly gay bear roar It was like a super-flamboyant cross-dresser going ooOOOOOOOOOooooooo!).
  16. Tell you what: I'll trade you offensive coordinators - especially tonight. We moved to the Power I and probably averaged 8 or 9 yards a carry for a seven or eight play stretch. LC couldn't stop it. What do we do? LINE UP IN THE SPREAD 30 YARDS FROM PAYDIRT! Moronic. We pulled this one off with sheer heart, defense and athleticism. If our OC is OC next year, something is wrong.
  17. Far from ending in little cypress right now - not at I-10 and 87.
  18. Will be tough for the Jags to win, but I'm rooting for them... Go Jags!
  19. Didn't mean it as an insult. I honestly was ignorant of the fact.
  20. IMPRESSIVE! You, as a 4A team, somehow managed to muster the gumption to beat a 2-8 3A team? WHOA! Granted, you only had 175 total yards and were outgained in total offensive yards, but you WON! (P.S. - Jasper is not part of the "Golden Triangle"). Not only did you beat a team who beat Hamshire-Fannett, but ALSO, they beat HARDIN-JEFFERSON! BH IS AWESOME! GO CLIPPERS! BARBERS RULE! LONG HAIR SUCKS! Is it obvious that I'm rooting for Jasper?
  21. Reports have the LC offense WAY in the negative yards.
  22. Pretty accurate. Not much there. When BH hit on a few passes, it was against WO-S's third-team D. We rotate players in and out constantly for a scrimmage. You know.
  23. Future reloads already getting prepped 8)
  24. I honestly didn't know UMHB had a team! No offense. Just an observation.
