I understand that Dayton lost two starting LBs. WO-S lost its most experienced and talented player. Honestly - if a team who is the far-and-away favorite to win its 4A district is too shallow on talent to stop a 3A team's backup RB AND backup QB, then district projections should probably be re-thought. When our second and third RBs and our second QB were in there, WO-S was marching down the field. Dayton is a strong team, but I think we were evenly handicapped.

Why is it that anytime someone says something critical about BH, people start posting all of their accomplishments? That totally worked.

The only push I saw from WO-S coaches was "pushing" players from BOTH teams apart. If that is grounds for another adult throwing punches and grappling, then I stand corrected. I don't see it that way.

Totally untrue. It happened directly in front of me. I'll have to assume you weren't quite as close. Why were the coaches confronting our sidelines instead of breaking up the fight or sending their backups back to the visitors' side? The punch, which I saw, was not retaliation. Nice try.

For those on the Dayton side, the coach attack was what caused the rain of "boos" from the WO-S fans - not the players or refs.

BH really is only a "successful team" on a very local basis. I don't think you can make a connection to WO-S there.

Never heard of that. It wasn't an all-out brawl. It was just a few players (and one coach) fighting and others gathering around (including the Dayton bench). I can't believe the coach wasn't ejected - or arrested.

Just didn't need to pass. It was the first game for a new WO-S QB and certainly not the first for Dayton's top D1 prospect, who continued to throw but struggled. Considering they were fairly equal, I think we're ok. You had two starting LBs out, we had our TOP PLAYER out and our QB out quite a bit. More than a few of those first downs were a backup QB and RB beat backup LBs. WO-S was the better team last night - though not by much. We had the same problems as you, but handled them better.
