  1. It's a strong district. Kville could win it, but they could just as easily bounce to fourth. It's no worse than the Dave Campbell prediction.
  2. Mustang stampede
  3. Quite possible. I think we'll win, but it could go either way. I do believe it will be close.
  4. Really? I think there's quite a bit of talk about LC-M.
  5. LC-M will have some say in the outcome of that district this year and possibly even next. That being said, "BOJO" as a slogan is still EXTREMELY gay and lame. Any other word would have been fine, I think. GO WO-S! WOJO!
  6. I didn't take a shot. Did you miss the smiley? You didn't paste in the smiley. Sorry. I probably got too defensive. I admit. But it's one of those things that was probably worse for us in a way than it was for y'all. I really believe we'd have stopped the drive. Almost every team that season got inside of our 20 at LEAST once, but the first TD allowed was in the 14th game of the season. If I'm right, then the turnover was as bad for us as it was for y'all. Regardless, I apologize for my part in the ugliness.
  7. Contessa is stirring up the Stangs. ;D
  8. Exactly. Kville didn't have the kind of passing attack that WO-S had. DPG didn't have as many yards because he didn't have to. Plus, he was out of the lineup in at least 20 percent of our clock time because the games were so ridiculously out of hand.
  9. You have my total support for your post and sympathy for your being chained to balla as a fellow fan
  10. No. I think you had it right the first time ;D ;D ;D
  11. Come on, STiger. Every village needs an idiot
  12. Newton, with their track record and tradition, are definitely a great team, without question. He didn't say "great teams," so clearly he's back to reality about Kville. _
  13. But, Contessa, DPG made your boy look like a pee wee player when they faced off last year, though.
  14. Uhhhh... I didn't miss the parts about PN-G and Central, but I must have missed the part where you implied that they got THEIR wins through some dishonest means. You did that with us and Vidor, who beat y'all straight up last year and were certainly the better team that night. Pity? How about hanging on to a loss for seven years? As bad calls go, it was pretty darn close in live action. The bottom line was that the Ned players quit when there had been no whistle. WO-S had VERY little offense that year. If they had been able to tackle Paul or recover the ball, they would have gotten the ball back and none of this would be haunting you. It would just be another loss to WO-S. Hopefully, they've started explaining the "don't stop until the whistle blows" at Nederland.
  15. Given your track record on predictions, this makes me feel pretty confident - and it should have the folks from Dayton putting a hex on you!
  16. LOL Any team can beat any team on any given night, but it ain't gonna happen soon
  17. Yep. Neither team should win by 3 TDs. That sort of prediction makes you look friggin remedial.
  18. Which dogs? Never mind. The answer is "no."
  19. This is how I see things: Kirbyville should have a lot of talent this year. Of course, no team in this area - in any given year - probably has more "raw talent" than PA Memorial. But coaching and mentality dooms them long before they get where they COULD get. Kirbyville hasn't beaten Silsbee or West Orange fucking Stark, so they have to get over both of those mental humps at least once this year - twice if they plan to hit the state tournament for more than a round or so. I don't see that happening.
  20. Genuine thoughts and prayers to the team and the young man and his family from WO-S. What a horrible situation. I can't imagine such a thing. God be with him.
  21. Uhhh... No.... Technically, Jeff Thibodeaux's punt return got us the win. The "bad call" just kept y'all from coming back. Personally, I SERIOUSLY doubt Ned would have scored to come back anyway. The only team that scored on us from inside the 20 in 2000 - out of 15 GAMES - was Ennis in the state championship. That includes the Bay City team that won state that year and ended up 15-1 (the "1" being a loss to us).
  22. Prayers to HF and the young man from the West Orange-Stark family. WO-S looks great. The running game will be much better this year. DPG has been making some tacklers wonder who got the worse end of the deal. Hypolite will be a game breaker.
