I was just agreeing with the previous poster, who said he was pleased with our team but disappointed that we're not toughening up for a postseason run. Where did I complain about my team? To call me cocky or classless - or compare me to KVILLEBALLA - is a VERY classless move on your part. Where did I speak for the team any more than any other poster here? Classy, brother. There was nothing offensive about my post. If the post was "Were you satisfied with your team's performance," then which one of us is more off-topic - me or you? Nice way to represent yourself with your 13th post.

Yep. We had seven plays in the second half due to the non-stop clock. We scored on two of them, but there won't be any continuous clock games in the playoffs. Okay, maybe if we play Cleveland or someone from that district - but I'm talking the real playoffs.

Dayton has two losses. They lost to WO-S and Nacogdoches.

I've bet on the cats twice and won, so I'll go with them again. -
WOS At Silsbee Predictions..SETXsports Game Of The Week
WOS92 replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I doubt that (overconfidence) will happen. I would have expected it to happen tonight, but clearly - with 49 points in the first half - they're hitting the field focused each week. -
Kirbyville 40 Orangefield 26 Final/Comments

I have a hard time believing that we're 30 points better than the second place team. I expect Silsbee to take the runner-up slot (assuming we can beat them next week). -
WO-S's is certainly up there. We have Earl Thomas (UT), Jacoby Franks (TTech), Ronnie Dennis and Dominique Rhodes. All average over 16 ypc. Earl has 6 TDs, Franks has 3, Dennis and Rhodes each have two.

Someone had better watch the Silsbee Tigers.

Oh give me a frigging break, guys! How much do we cater to the coaches? This is silly! -
I think the passing D stats have to be looked at in a different way than the rushing stats, because there are so many teams in our area - and around the state - who just CAN'T or DON'T pass. If you play Giddings, your passing D looks pretty good, because they probably only threw two or three passes and MIGHT have completed one. There are a few local teams for whom you could say the same thing.

Ozen, unfortunately, is the worst team in the district. Here's why: No one wants to play on the lines. Everyone wants the SportsCenter highlights and no one cares about the greater good. There are too many chiefs and no injuns. Coaching is a problem - not at the top, but just a level down. We had one of the same coaches at WO-S a few years back and had some of the same problems - discipline and heart. Now that he's gone and Thompson is back, so are those two "intangibles."
-
Well, when you complete more passes than you attempt, you're pretty darn good
-
Regardless, Credeur doesn't belong in the conversation after five varsity games.
-
I forgot Barbay. I'd put him and Hooks at the top. Credeur hasn't done enough to prove himself at the varsity level. These two have done it consistently and taken teams to the very top more than once.
-
Hooks, Neumann and Stowers...
-
Using the Enterprise stats, which I'm guessing are off for everyone then, it's 127.7.
-
Using the stats from the Enterprise (which is where I got Bevil's stats) the QB from BH has a 113.62 rating. They have him with 796 yards, but even with 858 it came out to 117.
-
QB ratings according to the NFL: Bevil: 127.7 Dejohn: 109.2 Williams: 117.8 Mosier: 76.79

Lumberton at Central Predictions
WOS92 replied to Bobcatfan4life's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Dugat and the starting QB for Dayton played the entire game against WO-S. They were just beaten by a better team. Lumberton will be an easy win for the Jags. -
If Mosley gets healthy, he'll get there first. He's less than 100 yards away. It's a shame that such a stellar season will likely be overshadowed by their first season without a playoff appearance.
-
Dayton will take it. They will compete with Central for the district title, though I don't know if they'll be able to stop Central's QB Williams.
-
Ok, well, then we've done it... I guess that puts us behind the 8-ball
-
Dayton, Central, EC and Deweyville...
-
If it's WO-S and Dayton, then it's WO-S (by a tune of 26-9 ) Certainly WBrook and Central are in the picture too...
-
After seeing my team against both Vidor and Dayton, let me say this - and it's just my opinion: If Dayton handles the "crowd pressure" well, they win by 28. If they handle it HORRIBLY, they win by 17.
