I think this district is going to be crazy competitive. The top two are clear but after that everyone has there positives and negative. Two new coaches, GCM RSS, lost a lot of talent,Channelview, King, kingwood park, or are just young Summer Creek. I know one thing for sure is that everyone is going to bring it in this district and no one can afford to take a week off. Looking forward to some great football this season.

I agree they have channelview way to high. They lost everything but the one running back. They had a decent jv qb but he isn't Going to be anything close to Jalen. GCM won't finish last.

Hopefully if all goes well and no major injuries Sterling will finish 8-2. If there are injuries though could easily finish 4-6. I guess that's true for everyone though. rumor is that williams, flannigan and a unknown coach from dallas area were called back for second interview on Tuesday. Those three are front runners. its hard to get info because they got this on lock down lol

I know you didn't say Sterling has nice facilities. I haven't been to a school in that district that has nice facilities. Stallworth is a relic and I've witnessed many a kid go down via the turf monster there. - Stallworth is getting new turf, and Sterling's weight room/field house is a lot better than some of the other field houses I have been in. Its not the best in the state or anything but its for sure not the worst.

Gareri made 98,000 as reported by Baytown sun. I can look it back up if needed but when all this started that was reported. GCCISD pays their coaches and teachers great, and sterlings a facilities are pretty nice plus great kids. There are a lot of positives to this job for the right person.

According to the Baytown sun 45 people applied for the job. About twelve were interviewed last Thursday and Friday. With head coach being announced Monday the 23rd. This is a great job to have with awesome kids. They work hard and have stuck together despite all this going on.

You are right the process started today they will interview 8-12 Thursday and Friday. with a second interview for finalist next week and should be announced by May 23.
