Never said anything about life threatening.  Do you know whatbwas said? In response to your comment about most kids not being held accountable,  apparently neither are adults. 

Well that's where we disagree solo, because I believe in right and wrong and whether ur a kid or an adult u should be held accountable for your actions.  U don't get a free pass to say or do whatever u want because ur a coach.  Are YOU not held accountable for what u say and do on ur job or can u say and do whatever u want? That's it I'm done talking about this on the message board. That's just me.

From ridin solo's previous post:  "Would also like to say glad the board denied the greivance against Coach Jost"..".............  It's amazing u agree with the board on their decision when u don't know the details of the grevience or maybe u do and u are ok with what happened. 

It's a starters world doesn't matter what you do coming off the bench.  You could be in top three scoring for your team but if your not listed as a starter  and probably not nominated then no one knows about you.

Burton probably wasn't the only one not nominated from OF.  You also had some players that stepped it up when district started who were not starters but in top three scoring wise during district.  HJ, HF, and OF went to playoffs from this district.

I think they will do fine even without the starters if the coach will let them play.  Sometimes I don't understand his subbing.  They can't get. In any kind of groove

The fact of the matter is this is not a cheerleading competition or drill team competition; it is a football game. The boys are competing. If there was no drill team, cheerleaders, band are even fans in the stands the football game would go on. Some of the examples mentioned on here were of kids choosing one competition (they were competing in) over another competition (they were competing in). The difference being they were participants in the events and not spectators. The girls need to compete in their sport, plain and simple.
