I think we are getting ahead of ourselves with this. Of course I'm a 22-5a guy. I think what your 21-5a boys are telling you is that they are trying to be realistic in judging their team in terms of its strengths and weaknesses. For example, PNG defense hasn't been good and I don't expect that to change much this year. With that being said, the offense has some guys who can carry the team together as long as the D doesn't fold. That's how BH was able to hang around us last year. Our D struggled with speed and they had the QB-WR combo to take advantage. Same thing w College Station. I don't think they are being negative, just real. Hell, the Cowboys with Dak and Zeke should have easy times scoring but that D probably wont stop a college spread. Just being real.

PAM should win. However if you let them hang around for long enough Shug could definitely lead PNG to a w, in my opinion. If PNG were to win, to me it would be in this manner.

The point I was trying to make was that top of the district on D in this district doesn't mean much because with the exception of Memorial, everyone was about the same level. I'm a realist. This team struggles against talent and speed, and that is all you see deep in the playoffs. Do I expect them to win state, no. I at least see them making 3 rounds again. Unless the Offense turns into a juggernaut, that D, especially the secondary, will be the weakness. The same weakness from last year. The thing is, you have to be talented enough to exploit it. College station and Memorial were talented enough.

Didn't have one last year though they were near the top in district in stats. Probably haven't had a legitimate scary D in years. They will be alright.

Not sure but I don't think that matters too much. Our D was pretty porous even with standout guys like Lejeune last year. This team will win its game on the other side of the ball. The D will be relying on a bend but don't break approach against top competition.

At this point, I don't care much any more. I hope Keitha does well. Most of whats needed to be proven has already been proven as far as my brother is concerned. I'll trust scouts and head coaches with rings with their assessments. Now from this end we just need consistency and health to go along with continued production. Rooting for Keitha and also a few Titans that played w /my lil brother long ago on those Port Arthur Cowboys teams. Either way, come 2019 I'll have great seats in some college stadium.

7 on 7 doesnt indicate anything about your team other than chemistry. College coaches and scouts hate it. Trust me, they prefer their prospects to not to get hurt in a meaningless game, I believe high school head coaches would agree with that as well. If any thing though it's football in some form again
