PN-G FANS - A little tidbit about your QB
RoschonsBigBro replied to RoschonsBigBro's topic in High School Football
Look, I aint going back and forth with you. I get enough of that from the teenagers I counsel. I CHARGE them. The only PNG people I actually know are related to me. You are too old to behave the way you do especially on an online forum. I actually admire alot of what you say, even if I believe you have NO TACT in saying it. Third, if you hold such positions about Black people, our youth, and the racial context of SETX what are you doing to change it? You better be doing something. You better just talking. I hope you are active. If you are not, then alot of your points go invalid. A while ago, I said this to you in response to one of your posts and never got a response, "These systemic issues that are being talked about on this forum should be brought up at school board meetings, city council, or other places where you can speak your opinions and allow your voice to be heard. I have a career in social services and have dedicated my life to affecting social policy. If you want to see change, please get away from your laptops and cell phones and jump on the front line with me. We need as many people of all races and perspectives to come together and help. But this, is a high-school football forum guys, the most you will get from people on here when you make these statements is a back and forth with a guy in their mid thirties," <-----sound like someone we know As that stated, every day since I joined my fraternity in 2010 I have been contributing back into my community whether advocating for changes in social policy, teaching in classrooms, counseling children and youth, mentoring, tutoring, fundraising, increasing cultural awareness through forums, banquet dinners and protesting unjust policies. If all you do is complain on high school football forum, then you sir, with the greatest amount of kindness I can muster, should take that chair back and have a seat yourself. Later though, I have youth to counsel and actual progress to make. -

I thought the PANews mostly covered PA and MC anyways and watch yourself with the have a seat comment. The Orange Leader didn't cover it, nor the Beaumont Enterprise, or the Houston Chronicle. In this case, maybe you should have got a mass com degree so you can write what you think is important. As for the each school should have a writer thing, I.C. Murrel usually writes the PAM aricles and Gabe usually the PNG/NED. Your gripe may be misdirected -

Every time I come home I see that framed up and I feel proud because what he wants, he makes it happen -
This was made when he was in the 7th grade. The things that you see on the field today and the person you see in the classroom are the result of God, perserverance, adhering to you dreams and putting in the work to see those dreams through.

I think you would have a different opinion if they would have recovered the onside kick. Garbage points don't put you in position to win a one possession ball game. I guess Tom Brady, Eli Manning, and all the other guys known for comebacks must have garbage Superbowl wins since they won those games when the defense got stupid and let up. Roger Staubach must have a garbage career, he made a living off beating idiots in the 4th. CAPTAIN GARBAGE, right. I am sure that before the Bills won the 1993 championship game, that the Oilers coach, Jack Pardee thought that the Bills were just scoring garbage points. We didn't win, but its YOUR teams fault that they couldn't stop the leak at the end because with a good coach and a disciplined team, that should never happen. When is the last time that happened to WO-S. That's bad coaching son.

I just know 34 total TDs lol. Otherwise I wait for one of you guys to post or Gabe to write

RoschonsBigBro replied to Stattrax's topic in High School Football
It's time. This is just the beginning too. -
And another thing why is this game on Saturday? Hasnt Ozen played multiple Saturday games this year or am i wrong? What is with that?
-
I think all the Ozen people left weeks ago. This will be a boring thread/week/game.

35-21 Indians -
think so

Over in Roschon land, we dont agree with that. Other teams have noticed this as well. We had sizeable leads vs Silsbee, Lee, GCM, Livingston, Lumberton, and even Vidor during the 4th. If Shug would have got hurt during one of those games when we were up, that WOULD fall on BF. The entire outlook of the season would have changed. Why even take the chance? The thing that makes it ok I guess is that we are lucky/blessed that no lingering or serious injuries have occurred. Hughes is a good rb, Riggs is 2nd in 22-5a. I know for a fact Bost could close a blowout game because the kid is pretty good himself, maybe not 7-1 and 34 tds good, but the kid can play.

the score looks like a horrible basketball score while being a horrible football score.

exactly, let hughes and the rbs do their thing with a 20 point lead. bost is good Qb, he could close the games. its good experience and keeps him fresh and prepared in the event of injury, which increases with every qb run. -
Im sure he could have but my point was with the lead, he doesnt have to.
-
Also what I said wasn't just in reference to this game. It has been this way since we had a 20 plus point lead at Silsbee, the very first. I and a few others in the stands wondered aloud why they hadn't pulled him. Bost can run a conservative, ball control offense with a big lead. We have had big leads all year. This season could take a huge turn with an injury.
-
Faircloth bought the Madden 17 playbook set for last night. 26 runs is unacceptable with the lead. That is what Hughes, Williams, and the Sr. RB is for. Im for even bringing in Bost at QB after a certain point if they have the confidence in him they say they have. If you wanted him to be your running back then you should have played him there. Better learn to slide....
-
damn i wanted lil Calvin and co. to get this one. Good win.
