Comparative scores tell some of the story, not all. How many times have you seen good high school, college, and NFL teams beat up on a decent team and lose to an underdog? It literally happens every Saturday in College football. Also some teams play harder against certain teams like how you see in the NFC east or AFC north matchups. These games are about who shows up more and executes. That is why the "any given Sunday" phrase exists.
