I really dont see that it matters if the stadium is full.The kids know that their true fans will be there and cheering them on.I hope that this yrs game can be played with out any problems between the players.And lets hope we dont have the same clowns ref this game it would not be fair to either team.Good luck to both sides.GO LIONS!!!!!!love #32 mom

I aint talking to much on this game.I have 2 nephews that play for H-D and my son plays for kountze(#32) I hope they all play good and its a hard call for me to say who will win. I have not been looking forward to this game at all.I will say as I have said before 1 person does not make a team..our boys know and understand that.Lets hope H-D knows that 2......GO LIONS!!!!!Love mom(Aunt Cindy)

I will not talk and brag to much, but...LOL..overrated...and all the other things the boys was called...guess what....KOUNTZE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!20-14 and the 2 young men that was bragged on sooo much...if we was at the same game...they stayed on their backs! Told ya'll our D was bad A** and our offense did great to.There is some room for improvement..but hey it was the 1st game.I am very proud of our boys!

umm just for your information i played college ball for the university of texas and i think i know a little bit about football and i know who is good and who isn't. maybe you need the football 101....until you play for a division 1 college or the big 12 like me, then you can talk trash to me 8) OMG!!!!!We moved from Lumberton to Kountze(my son played for lumberton..now plays for Kountze)I GUESS THE RAIDERS are over rated too..Kountze has a good team and Great coaching staff...did u go to any games last yr? The kids are doing the best they can do...and thats all anyone can ask of them. To say they are over rated is a crock. PPL need to remember that everyone that palys high school football is kids!!!! So u played for UT..big freakin deal. There are high school kids that know more about football than some adults.So,before you go running your mouth u need to think about the kids that are reading the crap u are writing yes i play for UT and i have some kin that live in woodville and ive seen them play numerous times and i know what they got. unless they have anything better than jarvis barlow or eric davis then kountze isnt gonna do squat against them. i pick woodville to win 28-7. and plus didnt colmesneil almost beat kountze in a scrimmage this year? and isnt colmesneil the same colmesneil team im thinkin of that lost every game last year? yeah kountze is nothing LOL!!!!! Well, all i can tell you is that i go to all the practices....our D is hitting hard and doing a good job so far.it is still to early to see what is going to happen but they are all looking good....GO LIONS!!!!!

Who cares what SE Texas thinks? Sportswriters, over-the-hill dads and various other jock sniffers will have no say in who wins the district championship. The championship will be decided by the players and coaches on the field. For the record, EC will retain it's district crown. I agree with most of that. But I will have to say....KOUNTZE WILL BE TAKING THAT CROWN!!!!I have a son and 2 nephews that play for Kountze,All the kids are ready for this season. GO LIONS!!!!!!! ;D

Yes, we lost Walcott and Chad but we lost Chad in the middle of the season to a knee injury. We have several young men fully able to lead this team to a district championship. Takes more than 2 or 3 players to make a team. We have a very good team that want this season to be the best, so that ppl will start taking us serious. Have a great season guys!!!!

I am Matt Lowe's mom and Scotty and Keith Gilmore's aunt. All i can say is if matt or JJ gets fs it will be good. They both have heart and want to play. Next football season is going to be good. All the boys that play for kountze are GOOD kids. They know that it is a team game and stand by each other. It is good to see kids that truly get along and are proud to see each other do good! Be lookin for the Gilmore boys, they dont play around. Matt and JJ are good at what they do. If Matt does make FS he has some big shoes to fill! Good luck to all the Lions(especially my 3 boys..love ya'll)

It was a good game!!! Hd played hard...but our Kountze Lions wanted it more. Scotty (Bull) Gilmore is fine be looking for him next week in Evadale. Even though everyone thought HD was going to beat Kountze by 2 TD's it did not happen....even though Kountze had 2 TD's taken away from them..b/c the ref blew a quick wistle. The score should have been 43-14.(kountze over hd) Its all good though. All I can say is people should really pay more attention to kounzte..we have a great coaching staff and GREAT KIDS that have heart. Bull's Aunt Cindy...love u Bull
