I don't think granfan is saying Hardin doesn't have heart they are just speaking for thier team. Kountze nor Hardin backed down in either game against Buna...both played thier guts out! As far as running out of time...that's just the game! We had to fight for our wins just like everybody else...and we have to do it in a certain time frame just like everyone else. Great job and best of luck to all 3 teams!

Watched both teams play...both teams have a lot of heart and talent! Not putting up numbers on this one. IMO, I feel it could go either way...Hornets have the home advantage, but I think the Lions could cause an upset. Good luck and may the best team win. ~ Go Cougars

GREAT NAME! Our daughter is the Cougar Mascot and she LOVED meeting your Lion mascot last night! Both girls also played volleyball before the bowl last night! Our daughter was all into the "Cat Bowl" theme! I agree...can't wait til next year!

I watched Hardin play this season against Warren and Warren's D did a great job! This is going to be a great game to watch this coming week! This was a great game to watch! Even though the rain came and went every few minutes...buts thats setx football! # 22, Woods, for Colmesneil did a great job!!! I am wondering where all us Buna fans are going to sit...we don't even fit in our on stands at home! Bring your chairs!

Oh my goodness raidernation...you want to talk about "outsiders taking shots" yet you seem to be the first "outsider" to post your "uninformed comments" about our boys and coaches on the Buna thread about "running up the score" when you yourself was not at our game. (you know what they say karma can be...) Good Luck again Raiders!

OK...I believe the facts have been stated on this thread about what we, Buna, did during this last game. If we say, "Oh we could have ran the score way up" then we are attacked for being arrogant. If we say we had our "2nd & 3rd string in" then you want them to lay down and do nothing! It seems that whatever we say there is an attack on our kids and coaching staff! I can promise our kids and staff work their butts off every week just as most teams do. Our coaches not only have class but integrity and character that they past on to our kids. They don't just have these attributes on the field but in the classroom as well! I am a graduate of Lumberton..I was an athlete as well as a varsity cheerleader. I have and always will have Raider Pride! I could not be more happy concerning the wins that Lumberton is having right now, however your comments concerning our team and staff is completely unfounded!!! GOOD LUCK RAIDERS! IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME COMING!!! GOOD LUCK COUGARS! WE LOVE YA! p.s. this is one of those seasons where I wish I could be in 2 places at 1 time!

Congrats Guys....you played a great game last night!!! We couldn't be more proud! We also enjoyed the Bands playing off and the mascots dancing off during the 4th quarter! It was all around Friday Night Lights!

Thank you Bobcat....evryone does have problems like this...just last week only one offical showed up and the other was caught up in that fatal accident in Beaumont. The other team was choosing not to play whe she walked in. Just to clear things up for the others that "parent" that called a non-district game is certified and does not like to ever call a Buna game! But as soon as the officals showed up she gladly went back into the stands!
