Why doesn’t WOS have a kicker?

Serious weaknesses exposed. And a lot to be positive about for both teams. West orange is going to score a lot of points in district, and won’t be easy to score on. Silsbee and Jasper better be on notice. I just hope png gets something together on offense. condolences for the loss, and as always, we’re grateful to play West Orange. ya’ll are still the class of the area, and will remain so.

West orange got some breaks. The refs kept letting the qb snap the ball with the play clock at zero. It was bizarre.

Png offense is in trouble. Nyugen and the defense pulled us through. Honestly, we need shea all over the field like last year. He’s too good to be wasted at qb . With him on the field at slot/wildcat/rb/qb, it’s like having an extra player. Bailey is good enough, just need to get him some reps. An ugly win is a win, and we got the win. And, even though we don’t usually say it after a team loses: West Orange is back.

Did someone at PNG do something to piss off TexanLive? I don’t think they’ve broadcast the last two weeks’ games.

What I’m curious to see is WOS dbs against PNG short passes. Png qb is solid, but there isn’t a lot of zip on the ball, so far. There were a couple passes against BU that faster DBs would have intercepted because the ball was moving so slowly. It hurt us against PAM. I hope we clean it up, but I think WOS will get some opportunities there.

How does playing BU help PNG? If anyone’s time was wasted, it’s PNG’s.

BU wouldn’t make the playoffs in either of the local 5a districts, but somehow they’re too good for any 5a teams

I remember when Lamar beat Alabama 55-0 and 45-14 two years in a row. Really shook the college football world.

Don’t you know, PNG is below average because Ozen beat us in 2008.

Ozen has beaten png 3 times. They beat png in 2002 (Png was 5-5), 2008 (Png was 3-6) and 2012 (Png was 2-8). 2008 and 2012 were the two worst seasons for png this century, and 2002 is tied for third worst. No ozen team has ever beaten a good png team. So, congratulations, I guess. You slew the beast.

Is there a list of all-time game results for Nederland somewhere available to the public? I’ve been looking.

Let’s get it started. I’ll take PNG, but it sounds like West Orange is better than last year. Should be a fun game.

United has some serious size. But it’s a really, really bad coaching product.

I don’t know who BU “should” be playing this week. They’re playing PNG. Memorial was tough and good for us in a lot of ways. Big, fast, physical. We made too many mistakes. Hopefully, we learned important lessons from it. I expect to see offensive and QB improvement from PNG, and the defense will build on their good experience and performance last week. I’ll take PNG by two scores.

Png has an offense problem. I miss Adams as a utility player.

Both defenses playing well. Both offenses just getting what they can.

That’s the png stream. I think memorial has historically had a really high quality stream. I don’t know if they do it still.

Dumb question: what time do the gates open? I’m thinking 6:00.

PA should be favored, but this PNG team has the potential to be nasty. Strong, disciplined, and big. PA is stacked. Setting aside the fact I’m rooting for PNG, PA should win in a toss up. In a tight game, I’d expect PA to have a few more chances at the end zone. All that being said, if PA gives us any windows, PNG has the team to bust through them.

I’m thinking 28-21 or 21-14 if it’s a lower scoring game.
