PNG has gone on a 42-7 run since going down 21-0

Who is #35 for PNG? I haven't seen him be used out of the wildcat this season, but he's run successfully all night out of that position.

It is closer to that - the size differences in the schools is significant. It won’t be surprising if both are D1 next year. But I didn’t watch BH against Nederland. I can say Crosby v PNG it seemed like the Crosby offense was moving in fast forward and png was on a time delay. I don’t think it’s just that Crosby was faster, it’s the play design had PNG hesitating, like they didn’t know who to go after. It’s of course stating the obvious to say the better team won after a beat down like that, but it’s clear Crosby has taken serious steps forward in the past few years. I’m sure some of that is based on growth, but it’s also coaching and maybe even culture. Crosby wasn’t this dominant for most of the last 20 years, even when they were good, so something is different in a good way over there.

I don’t think the back is the problem. The png offensive line is getting manhandled.

I think BH should win this, on paper -- Nederland's offense is still a weak point, and all things considered BH can move the ball against anyone. But BH is a wild card mentally - They gave up a big lead to Crosby and collapsed against PNG and it was pretty clear it was a discipline break down against PNG. So if Nederland is just patient and keeps churning like they did against PNG, BH will give them chances to win.

PNG only gave up 24 to the Nederland offense. 14 of Nederland’s points came from a scoop and score off a fumble and a pick 6.

I called the score to be 49-14. Crosby looks like they’ll far outdo that prediction.

Indians stormed back after going down 17-0. KP has only scored one offensive touchdown. They got a pick 6 early, and the field goal. It’s been all PNG since then. The Texan Live cameraman is killing me, he’s had the camera pointed away from the play a couple times, and other times is holding it too low. He either ate a pound of Ritalin before the game, or needs to do so now.

This one might be for the district championship. Crosby appears to be the more balanced team. I’ll go with Crosby in this one. 49-14.

Number 81 for Bh is terrifying

That was the most complete game png played all season. Hope they keep up the improvement.

I agree the ref got that spot wrong - it was a clear 1st down. But a good game played by both team. I never thought I’d eat crow on a prediction PNG would lose, but I’ll take mine deep fried.

Let’s all say it together: PNG’s defense is getting better.

After the Nederland game, it’s inexcusable that PNG didn’t make changes to its kick return plan. Get away from the ball.

Wheelhouse is worth it. No idea on the crowd on Friday but I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty packed.

After last night I have to go with BH. The Eagles’ o-line is too good, and the BH qb is elusive and fast with a good, deep arm. PNG doesn’t have the weapons on offense, and continues to make stupid mental mistakes. Defense will keep it close for a little bit, but this will get ugly.
