Vidor players earned a ton of respect tonight. 

I forgot we aren’t playing on a cow pasture anymore.

Once this rain band moves past us it looks clear behind it, hope we play it out tonight.

Vidor is playing great on defense. Our line can't do anything and the vidor d line quickness is eating them up

One last thing. It is against UIL rules for an announcer to make any disparaging or negative comments during the game

It’s not the announcer’s job to try to influence the game, in my opinion. The game is played on the field. 

PN-G out of sync.  No groove for the Indians.  The game has the tempo and feel that favors VHS.

If you’re at the game and have went to your car, the players are coming back out shortly. Will play the 30 seconds left then we will roll into the 3rd qtr and skip halftime.

Nederland needs to get a full “ant” mascot costume and have the mascot walk around on the BH sideline, cheering on the team like it is supposed to be there. 

I have to admit it’s a lot better this year with Vidor active on here and talking noise. Missed y’all last year, but back in full force, still missing a few OG Vidor posters tho 

I'm going with Beaumont United. No reason why, just feel an upset in the air. This might be one of the bigger games in the state this week. Undefeated state finalist vs undefeated up-and-comer. It's a game I'd like to see. 

Not yet , but after BH destroys the end zones Friday  they may have to get started.

Field watering duty started last night bud, after the homecoming bomb fire was put out by the great people of NFD. They left the water hoses out and running to the field for us, giving it a few extra days to soak the field. 

Who would have thought that on the Wednesday before the Hwy 90 shootout, that there'd be no thread for this game? I'm optimistic and believe things aren't as bad for either program as everyone seems to think. Predictions? Hopes? Dreams?
The Bronco defense has honestly been pretty dang good this year. I think the offense will move the ball this week and give the D the rest they need to keep the Cougars at bay. This will be a good high school football game. I'll say Broncos 31-28.

All bs aside, this will define Ned’s chances for 2019.  You don’t see Ned 1-3 very often.  Good game with WOS, and BU is very good this year, but the Silsbee loss is another story.  The Tigers struggle with Ltown for several quarters, was not what most of us expected.   
On the plus side, several playoff spots up for grabs.  District has several decent teams, but not one dominant, imo.  So a victory over BH would be a hugh leap for Bulldog playoff chances.  Gonna be interesting.

Hey, I am just happy the coaching staff incorporated the forward pass in their game plan. Gotta give credit to the young man at QB. He did a good job hitting some big passes. That should help his confidence and he can continue to build on that. I don’t know if we win that game if he doesn’t make the completions he made. Crosby’s defense did a decent job on our run game. It was good to see the Pirates run more than just the one rollout pass play they’ve always run. They ran just enough pass plays to keep the defense honest. I don’t expect a 50-50 balance on the run/pass plays in this offense but the mixture the other night is all you need to keep them guessing. Pirates defense played solid also. All in all it was a great team effort. Go Pirates
