Vidor fans have low expectations ,  It's engrained in the culture. 
  What ISD lets a losing coach that's leaving pick his replacement which is also his best friend , just for the sake of keeping all the good ole boys together ?

It’s a little baffling how close LC has their safeties play to the box. If they don’t have the players for that scheme what are the coaches thinking? 
Either way, it’s good news for Nederland’s run game. 😀

I've watched a few of these matchups over the years on YouTube. The Muck Bowl can get downright crazy on and off the field. The Salt Bowl is my favorite on the list. 

Nice win for the Bulldogs  5-1 and 3-0. Coach Rich and staff have players improving 
They are going to have a very difficult time vs the last 4 opponents due to these areas that must be cleaned up 
way way too many penalties especially personal fouls. Kickoff team and punting teams are probably the weakest areas on the team. Defensive secondary and LB’ers are struggling (no way should you have given up 28 to WF)
The offense is getting better, and must continue to improve in passing game
Hoping they can improve in all areas and make the playoffs. Just 1 more win could get them in. Go Nederland

+1   Always interesting to listen to what good coaches have to say, and particularly, how they say it.  

If he has one I’d like to hear it. I try to listen to whoever wants to give insights about their perspective and team. 

Defense showed up second half and just showed who they were as a unit impressive job to shutdown a team for an entire half.
Offense did enough tonight and did it early which is whats key, we get a lead and we have the defense that can hold it.

Without quoting Rez again... And it's a perfect example of how bad clock management can screw up your win probability. 
I can point the 5AD2 title game last year and call that historic win a MASTERPIECE of excellence in clock management. The onside kick and forcing TOs before Coach Todd even knew he was beaten by the odds.
Time outs are undervalued and sometimes, and it's the HC's job, to manage the gameplan. And, if a HC is 12-0 in one score games, we should look at how this is related to using the time, in any given game, as an edge. 
 
If a team wins by 30 points the clock doesn't matter. If a team is always ahead or nearly behind, against another great team, in a close game, and the other team is always out of TOs? It's an edge.
The clock management strategy was already happening in games like this when a coach knows how to game the clock/ It was happening in the 1st half and managing possessions going into the 2nd half. 
 
I watch NCAA and HSFB almost exclusively. I like Texas, ATM and LSU. Les Miles made me go bald on Clock.

 

Even in the PNG v Huntsville game. The shanked punt was the only reason HV had a chance to get to OT. The game really wasn't that close. The play clock, and everyone has talked about this, was a drive-killer for the NDNs. They had to make more plays than they needed to. 
 
In the end.. PNG forced a long FG and the clock was an issue.
