Rez reacted to NHSBulldogFan in Lumberton @ Nederland
Nederland has been god awful on offense the last several years...we welcome the change but I think we'll be better on defense than offense two D1 LBs help with that

Apparently you didn't watch any PN-G games last year.

Think of the rain as a giant sprinkler system. We just want the Bulldogs to feel at home.

I was wrong. It's called Dayton Bronco Studios on YouTube. Quality production and the best option for streaming Bronco Football.

Prieto having coached at both team and his proven track record of having taken Crosby to the state championship makes this one even more interesting.

How perfect is it the year that the highway 90 shootout is brought back is also the return of Texas/Texas A&M.
Regardless of outcome this game should happen every year as Crosby and Dayton are true rivals, and with the expansion of 99 will soon be back to the same size.
as someone who was at Crosby during the Stewart Era in Dayton nothing is more special that beating those Broncos.
good luck to everyone stay healthy and I hope it's a a amazing game. Crosby by 21

I watched the Huntsville live quarters. Hard to judge Huntsville based on that scrimmage - They might be good, they might be about to win state. They’re big, fast, and seem to be picking up where they left off last season. Reason it’s hard to judge is Lufkin looks terrible. Fumbles, bad passes that get intercepted, very little push from the O-line. From start to finish, Lufkin looked entirely out of sorts. Just a scrimmage, so still time for Lufkin to put it together. Anyway, Huntsville is going to be solid.

BH Vs Shadow Creek
Shadow Creek scored 21 to BH's 0. The entire scrimmage was controlled and only the 1st teams moved the ball and scored. BH had a good opening drive down to the 20 then got picked in the endzone. Shadow Creek is picked to win their 6A district and returned 9 on O and 8 on D from last year. Overall, it was a good Scrimmage BH has some good size on the line and QB1 threw it pretty well, but his legs and size is what's going to make him good. QB's couldn't run during the scrimmage though and he had a ton of opportunities to head up field. BH defense broke 3-4 times which is where SC scored, so that will need some work.

They've got a really good db this year in Courland Guillory who's committed to Oklahoma their weakness is the defensive line which is a bad sign when you play PN-G this year

So we had a qb battle going. A Jr right handed kid and senior lefty. They've been trading reps
-
Rez reacted to aki1994 in LCM at PNG scrimmage thread
The senior lefty looked to be the better passer for LCM.
PN-G looked bigger across the board versus last years team. Defense doesn't look like it will take a step back at all and that was the biggest concern coming into the season. Connor Bailey was a little off on the deep balls and had one dropped. Running game looks very good as should be expected.
Freshman and JV scrimmages looked like more of the same. Both first team O's ran the ball well.

Wuenchel is gonna be an all state candidate if all goes well. That kid looks to have put on about 20 lbs and he is brutal. The whole Indian LB core is big and very aggressive. They are a bit bigger than last season on the o line and LBs and DL. Chatangier is about 195 now. He looked like a bulldozer out there. Good game LCM best wishes on your season.

There weren’t very many penalties on either team.
They played 6 quarters with the last 2 being game conditions.
In this scrimmage Nederland held the ball for a quarter, starting at their own 35. If there was a turnover then the ball went back to the 35 and they started over. Then WB did the same for a quarter.
Then they did the exact same again and without a roster, I am assuming it was mostly swapping out players. So 4 quarters were each team holding onto the ball for an entire quarter. Neither team scored. Nederland did get to a first and goal at the 2 of WB but fumbled to WB on the first play so back to the 35 to start over. WB got deep in Nederland territory like maybe down to the 20 but they were called back on one of the few penalties.
After those 4 quarters of swapping possessions they played 2 more quarters of game conditions except for kickoffs and punts. They would do the kickoffs and punts but with no return allowed.
Nederland scored twice in the game simulation. It was a decent scrimmage for both teams. Nederland probably had a more stout defense against the WB offense than vice versa.

Ned 13
WB 0
they played 2 quarters. Ned should have had one more TD. Dropped a TD from the one and then botched the snap on the FG try lol
defense looks good. Hard hitting.
if the Dogs can block a little, Hubert is gonna smash. He’s that dude.
