I think you are a little out of line here. That community was hit very hard by IKE. I do not think you have your facts correct. I believe they played Deweyville not Shelbyville. And they were out of school and practice for a long time like 3 weeks before filling that game so please do not trash talk such hardships unless you walk in their shoes. Oh we have walked in those shoes more than once!!! Jasper was out for 2 weeks with Ike, and we were out for a week for Katrina then 4 weeks with Rita and during the Rita Jasper played 3 games in 9 days. so we know about the hardships. But to cancel a game only to pick up an easier opponent is not right. You are right it was Deweyville not Shelbyville my mistake.

You are right Majestyk I beleive that WOS will get it together and make a run through the playoffs!! It is just just annoying that some (not all) WOS fans are giving Jasper absolutely no credit for winning the game. it is like they think that WOS would have lost even if Jasper had not shown up at all.

Execution is part of football. You make these points every week when wos does not play well. Maybe there just not as good as you think they are Coop. That's not it, that was proven against 4A Nederland and LC-M. Plus a few D1 Schools think some of them are quite good. It's simple...Can't drop wide open passes, Can't have bad snaps, Can't throw interceptions RIGHT TO the Defender and just walk in for a TD. coop you definately win the homer of the year award!!! because in your mind the WOS qb through that ball directly to the Jasper LB because the Jasper coaches could in know way have taught that young man to maybe read the play and be in the right place to make the interception. and in your mind the WOS center just started snapping the ball bad for no reason, it had nothing to do with him being out weighed byover a hundred pounds by the man lined up on him every play, it had nothing to do with the Jasper defensive scheme keeping pressure coming through the line (sometimes untouched) Let me ask you this how many bad snaps did he have in the first 3 games?

Considering that ham fan refused to play Jasper last year using IKE as an excuse and then played Shelbyville instead I have a feeling that the Dogs want be pulled off until it is real ugly!!

The Chaingang gave up 295 yards to Jasper i would say the defense needs a little help too.

True. Bottom line is the Penalties, Dropped passes, bad snaps have to stop. And giving teams TD's have to as well with Turnovers deep in their OWN territory. given TD's??? geez coop it looked to me like Jasper took that interception for a Touchdown!! and you can stop talking about penalties in this one Jasper won this part of the game too with more penalties for more yards so that excuse doesnt hold up!! ok lets break it down Jaspers offense scored Jaspers defense scored Jaspers special teams scored and Jasper over came the zebras

LOL Thats not true COOP they have 5 Players in the NFL that gave about 20 grand each and the NFL matched it. That paid for weights and weight platforms in their indoor facility but the turf and facilities themselves were paid for by bonds and industry there in Lufkin.
