Jasper opens up it season Saturday morning vs Kirbyville.

Jasper over Nederland 43-31. Good work by both teams today.

Jasper has Nederland this weekend starting at 10am. I was at the Silsbee scrimmage last week, and I saw a the lady bulldogs hold Silsbee scoreless for the first 18 minutes of the scrimmage.  I think that something might be cooking this year in Jasper.  Their offense will be good too! This team has dept!!!!! :)

Hey Bobcat, luv up here in Jasper.  i believe that both of our teams will do fairly well this season.  i think sports fans love to get jacked up about rankings, i've been around this long enough to that it's not where you start, but where you finish.  I wonder what Diboll thinks about being ranked # 1 last year in the beginning, and all of the pre season # 1's. i just wonder how many have run the table.  from the pros to high school, it's going to be who's playing the best ball at the right time.  i believe that we are going to be alot of surprises this season.  Why crown the champ now, when the final seconds haven't ticked down yet!  i would love to see Kelly Win it all, Woodville too, and in 3a -4a it would be great for teams in the area to win it all!  8)

Jasper lost 1 senior, this years team 5 seniors, 4 juniors, 3 soph. they are loaded!!!!! 8)

Last year 18 3a was loaded, Diboll has lost alot, carthage, huntington as well. They should be able to take care of business this season. to make the playoffs.

With 8 returning from last years team, they lost 1 to graduation and they loaded with ball players that can go. Can they put it together? what's your thoughts?

The Lady Bulldogs are looking for a game for the 10th of November due to cancellation on their schedule, will travel!

Congrats to woodville, but you have to finished the deal the season with the championship. I hope you do it this year. we're gonna make some noise here in jasper too this season. 8)

I believe that Woodville, HJ, Orangefield, Jasper, Central will all be good.

i do'nt know if Jasper will make the playoff this season, a bad 1st half of district play has hurt them. and I can say that this team was ranked high, but they will be something to deal with next season. That's if the coach returns next season! I heard that he might be leaving. don't know if it is true though. Coach Baker has done a fine job building this program, it takes a while to get it done. hope its not true.

Jasper let one get by them today, i was very impressed with the effort to force a overtime. Lumberton and Jasper played on of the finest games I've seen in a while. You had to be there to see! 3 overtimes ,they later came back to beat Huffman 62 - 59. Gutsy performance today Lady Dogs. Good luck tomorrow against HF.

They are responding to what Coach Baker is teaching. They had a great summer. still a ways to go!!!!
