When you see the cover of the program for the West Brook vs. Ozen game it will show you what needs to go into the big yellow circle in the middle.

Here is a problem.  No bathrooms in the locker rooms at this time.  Porta potties.  No running water on the field.  This place has a field and that is about it!  If West Brook was playing anyone but Ozen (or Central) they would play this at Durley.

It seems to me that PAM lost to someone besides WB in district.  Before you win the district title back you may want to establish some consistency during the district title run.

Two words: show me.

WB should win, however I think that Ozen will display good athletic talent.  Their defense is suspect, but their skill players are very talented.  Superior line play takes over from the beginning and WB takes it 42 to 14.

Central asks for "do over" in last second loss. PAM declares "We will be undefeated against 4A opponents".

Bruins in early hibernation during loss to Ozen.  West End floods as tears fall. Judge Flores issues injunction against WB games at Butch. WB band collapses.  Overtrained.

C'mon Ozen fans get into the spirit.  Answer back.  Let me help you. Hmmmmm,.... Sorry, can't think of any for an Ozen win.

WB (once again) needs a better kicking game.

Sounds like envy.  Too bad their schools do not have the spirit of WB.  No organization wasntilx to be there. It was completely voluntary.  A far cry from a few years ago!

It was the drumline, not the band.  The drill team had a show in the gym that evening and left the scrimmage at 5:30.  The cheerleaders wanted to cheer one last time in Durley for the varsity. 

Who needs tickets if you have a 21 5a pass.

What they should have done is sold the rights to the name of the complex "Toyota Athletic Complex of Beaumont ISD", etc and if they wanted to name something "Butch Thomas Field House, Field, etc.  Then the money for the rights to the name could go to the upkeep on the complex.  Turf does not last forever, you have to replace it every so often.

One of Central's starters is probably out for the season.

I heard that one of the starters for Central had a season ending injury.  Anybody know anything about this?

It's an educational support center because if they called it an athletic support center it would be called "jock strap stadium".

It was proposed to Dr. Thomas that the three BISD schools have a day where everyone scrimmages.  He rejected the proposal.

Oh, I'll be at Durley.  I hope it isn't dangerously hot.

Geez, the season cannot get here soon enough.  First arguements about the name of a stadium, now scrimmage wins and losses. What's next, font choice on the uniforms, our practice could beat your practice?  

There is a big "opening gala" planned for August 26th.  Hopefully after that the "butching" about the name will stop and the playing will begin.

For WB you cannot play DL without speed.  It is a requirement by Stump.  Jolivet is 220?  Must have hit the weights this summer.  Caleb make have the speed to make a great impact as his first move could take him past a slower offensive lineman, provided he does not stand straight up.  He appeared taller than 6'2" when I talked to him about a week ago.  The weakness of the line appears to be in the middle as WB lost its two tackles to graduation.
