This is going to be so fun come Saturday morning reading some of the post.with this been the first game and I know our cbs need reps.but it's 11 men to the ball.and if that was shug, kid from WB,kid from United I would be a lil nervous.QB that can make plays with there arms and legs.and ur asking 300 lbs tackles to block 160 lbs rover coming off the edge is asking a lot for high school.everyone opinion is based on scrimmages. Do everyone know that every team is vanilla with play calling it comes to scrimmages. And oh I hope Nederland is prepared for the qb keeper.it makes those Biggs run.and then they establish mr.cooper.come 4th qtr.when they get tired them dogs comes out!! And I'm not talking abt no bulldogs either. Sports is abt matchups.

I just hope if it doesn't go that way.that it want cloud your prediction the rest of the season.i think your given big Ned a little to much credit.i can't predict a score but if it's 1 point or 20 points still a L comin Friday for Nederland. Lol if I didn't know better this is based of a scrimmage that everyone is putting more into than what it is.

Sorry didn't meet you. Was at work. One day hopefully chop it up and grab something to eat somewhere. My wife is from bmt.so I catch a lot of bmt games.and one thing I know that if w.o doesn't go 3-3 U will be the first to say it.and no I don't believe they will go undefeated. But remember this year will be harder than any year for them to get back.but they have a few kids that has been there for 3 years that are just dogs.and they will look like a totally different team watch.and the next 2yrs it will be extremely hard just to win the district.

It's great to see everyone opinion again on football.here's the thing:PAM,BUT,Newton,silsbee, probably are the most talented teams in setx.Big NEd,png probably has more heart than any teams in our area.it brings me to this.what everyone wonders what makes w.o so special every year. And I'll be the first to say they have a lot flaws with last year and this year team. But what remains is that IT! And that is these kids out here has a dog in them u just can't coach.coach T gets it out of them every year.so when a team plays them they better take advantage of the miscues they may have.for instance take the sc game last year.pG took advantage what was given to them on that day.so while most base there opinion on what they heard.need to take time out and see for the next 4 wks those teams will know what this dog is all abt.i promise by game ends they want wanna play them again.

I know yesterday they were very vanilla and used a lot of players. And I still say they should've gave the starting qb more reps.getting there best player back will help.but in the words of coach T.if u will bite as a puppy u certain will bite as a dog. So a lot will get better.but those cbs,and d/tackles better get better.especially #44. Can't be friendly from here on out.its all abt getting better.

No freshman team.the ones they do have has to play JV. And that's why some of th JV players got a chance to play with the varsity tonite.

I just hope everyone don't think that this year's team will have a defense of years past.if the DBs and tackles especially #44 Don't get better teams will score on them.

Ur absolutely right. Here is my thing though.them corners has a long long way to go.what hurts is they're terrible tacklers.and not the best at defending the pass.and from jump the one team that I was afraid of there schedule Was crosby.bcz u want be able to hide them in a spread offense.and don't get me wrong.i know the talent Newton has.but some of the things they do w.o with coach T will adjust.they have 2 kids returning in secondary but I don't see any improvement. They will get better.but corners are the most important position on the defense.so if they can get through this non district schedule improving on defense.then they might be in for the long hall.them and silsbee will plat twice this year without a doubt.

Played a bunch of backups. 1 thing for certain is they really don't have any backs up at all.normally they have a kid to plug in here and there.not this year.second week in a row.corners can't tackle.and if Cooper there best player doesn't get well soon.next week could really be a problem.

Not all. I know they're playing a lot of backups but they still had a few starters mixed in there.there starting corners are horrible tacklers. And #44 Who they are given a chance to play tackle. Stands straight up and gets cut every play. Sure glad you have time to correct a lot of things.

I don't know if u could see the corner.#22.they kept getting the corner bcz he wouldn't come up and support the run.i know they are playing a lot of backups.but I can't see him lasting the whole year there.bailing out given the RB the corner.i know coach T will adjust like always.but I think he last on defense unless it's nickel situation

I think ppl put to much in scrimmages.jasper will be gud.this is fact. Why u don't pay any attention to scrimmages. My high school days we went 28-2.wit 2 rings.but I do remember getting manhandled by png in both years in scrimmages.and by years end look where we were compared to them.along the way we manhandled the #1 ranked team in state and #3 nation. Teams shouldn't worry abt how ur playing in August and worry about how ur playing in November and December.

For 3a.they might be.but in a few weeks they come down to earth.orange county want be a good trip.

Every team only work on a certain amount of plays.and then the subs come in. To see who is varsity ready and what kind of depth they have. It's impossible to grasp how any team will fair bcz of a scrimmage. By week 5 or 6 we will know where teams are.

Last couple of years the coaching has been the difference between those two. I think silsbee could be one of most potent offenses around if they were more of a perimeter team. And defense has to get better at stopping the run.

And I hope no one gets me wrong. Silsbee is very talented. But I have no fate in that coaching staff.me personally bcz of them not knowing who the QB will be and with that coaching staff. And the struggles they have on stopping the run. I can't see how u pick against w.o to finish 2nd.

Just one question what makes ppl think that this will be a down year? Do ppl realize that all of there better players were under classmen.the only person that was a major key was jarron morris.and our qb gave us all he had.but he wasn't a passing Qb. And it showed in the sc game. In case they don't know they have 2 Qbs this year.watson was a better runner but both these kids are better passers. And let's not forget abt mr.k. Cooper who was there best player.will be a problem for anyone !!

They did. I spoke with a couple coaches Wednesday and they said they have changed.so w.o want have there legionary 3 on 3 til monday.

After watching them practice again. They look alike the 2015 team.only if a few yung pups handle Friday nite lights.but for the most part they are deeper then last year team.few new faces that look descent.
