Well there is substance to the first part of that. I know of a few teams that started off really strong and just lost steam.

Just like you didn't see Silsbee splitting games with BC last year...the only problem was they split games with too many teams.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their support, and the Silsbee Tiger Varsity Football Team for making it so easy. We lost some close ones this year, but ya'll gave us a great season. For the seniors it ended too soon, but that's the way it goes. From the students to the fans to the community, Friday Nights had been transformed when the Tigers took the field this year. To those who made it difficult for us this year, I'm sorry we couldn't have been more convincing. Hopefully, this will become tradition in Smoketown. SCRUB 0 and SCRUB 1 are out, as far as football goes, Bossman and Iceman, you're in. Oh yeah, it's not really my favorite, but last night it felt right... Hey SCRUBS, WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION?!?!? 8)

The same thing happened to me last year. It turned out that someone used it and put it in someone elses locker, hence the odd recent calls numbers. Just don't let it ruin the win for you. Jasper played a great game, and silsbee did too. Especially #17 Donovan Harris! He had a truly electrifying performance last night. Jasper might just go a few rounds this year. They're strong where it counts, in the trenches. It was a heartbreaker for the Tigers, but I just can't get over that last interception. It seemed like a deceptive play, but he ended up throwing a jump ball into double coverage. I'm not here to bash the coaches or anything, so thanks Tigers for a memorable year.
