Mississippi 5A football fall of 05'. Vicksburg High School played our biggest rival, Warren Central on the other side of town. We beat them 10-0, but it was only the second time ever I think. We played them for 30 years and never beat them at their house until then. It was truly uplifting for the whole program, and our side of town. "Gators Make History!" 8)

Hahaha...this one again!!! I believe it's just the final six weeks grade. I just thought about something: Some schools might have an advantage with failing players if they opt to have the 9 week schedule rather than 6 weeks. I'm not sure of all the regulations, but it's something to think about. ??? ??? ???

When we went to PNG last year we went into a very nice field house right beside the field. They kicked us out and made us walk half a mile to one of their gyms. The room was small damp and uncomfortable. I felt like I was in a version of SAW. That place was nasty. :o

I heard about some guys playing on the weekends, nothing too serious. I think the last one was Silsbee in Jasper? I don't hear alot about this so I would appreciate an update on some kind of schedule or future games. ??? ??? ???

I believe "Old People" used in this context takes the place of more inappropriate terms that are best not said; however, it IS unfair to say "Old People" because there are "Old People" that support us. Likewise, most people that are older than us are "Old People," sorry. To address the reserved seating, how many people really sit in their assigned seat at a game? Most people I know sit by their friends, regardless of age. I know some are concerned about our consideration of the people around us. We aren't the least bit disrespectful, and all is done in good spirit and attitude. I admit that some of us get out of control very rarely, but this is only a reflection of our OBSESSION with Silsbee High Football. If there happens to be any conflicting or offensive incident SCRUBS leadership will resolve the matter with the greatest sincerity because the aim of this organization is create a positive atmosphere for the students, the community, and most importantly the players. I couldn't make it to the PNG game for personal reasons(Carlos Mencia tickets), but at the houston game we had 30 easy.

I remember that game; I was in the opposite dugout. I wish our fans would do that, but I'm not sure how our coach would react.

I wanted a few opinions about a conflict between SHS SCRUBS and people attending games. Our administration came to me with complaints that other fans had towards SCRUBS. The last few games we rightfully sat at the 50 field level at home. The people sitting behind us are complaining because we never sit down and they don't want to look over us. So, the administration told me that we needed to sit in an alternate area, most likely in a corner of the stadium that no one would notice. At home games people can ask us to move because some seats are specifically paid for; however, at away games it is general admission so we can sit anywhere. I just don't think it's right to shove a spirited group of fans in the corner so the reserved fans can watch a game in peace and comfort. The problem is I presented this organization to our administrators in hopes of making it an official club. They denied, so I believe they have no say in the matter. From the standpoint of an ex-football player there was nothing more than looking up in the stands on Friday nights and seeing all those people going crazy for you. It seems to me that it is wrong for them to do this????? Any comments???? ??? ??? ???
