Yes! I anticipate a Yates vs. Silsbee regional final.

The only reason that we may not make it to state this year will be the Jack Yates Lions. They have several people returning. Those guards are "good"...and they have a big heart! It will come down who wants it the most. I won't count out my Tigers!

From what I heard about the scrimmage, and from what I hear from some of the guys here at work, United practices differently, the players seem more engaged, and they look like a completely different football team. United may surprise some people this year! I wish Silsbee was playing them in football. I know we will play United in basketball.

Great choice for the number one team...United still has to play some games to show me something.

So who are the top players participating in this showcase? I only know of the guard at Morton Ranch, the tall guard at Dickinson, and of course the big guy from PA Memorial.

Excellent Point! And most of the time, the 9th grade coaches in football are head coaches in another sport on the high school campus. So in reality, many of the football players are starting all over in the 10th grade.

In my personal opinion, my Tigers will win the Ship 3 years in a row regardless of who transfers in. I am looking forward to the game between us and United. Does anyone know the date of that game so I am sure that I am off work?
