Well all I have to say is THANK YOU TO THE 2 D-VILLE PLAYERS WHO DECIDED TO CRASH OUR HOMECOMING!! Just what the boys needed to fire them up after the lost of a well loved Buna ISD employee this morning. I just wonder what the 2 players thought they would do with the whole Buna team there and the whole town! WOW! Hopefully they are not in the top of their class.

Today we lost a good man from Buna. Joe White loved his cougars! I hope the boys will dedicate the game to him and the season! I know he will be with us wishing us good luck and hollering for his Cougs! Go Boys GO!

ok wow. first game of the season and ec pulls out strong. there is a new deweyville team here they are starting to get grip of this new offense and the coaches are starting to run more smash mouth football which is the Deweyville way. Yall barely beat Kountze and Deweyville came out on top to. Even with 5 starters out comin out after the half and they still fought and got the win. so for you to say buna over deweyville 45 to 13, you better eat your wheaties cause deweyville is comin and they are comin hard and hungry. We BARELY BEAT KOUNTZE? LOL! UHMM, I think that was you who barely beat kountze! We had a few points on them dear! GO COUGS!

Any team can win on any given night. Yes, I knew Addison always went to D-ville but we gave our best each summer to keep him. We knew he would be a good one. GO COUGS GO!!!!

With Craft SR. out we got the chance to let some others run the ball and Baker took advantage to show what he could do. With Craft Sr. back, Craft Jr. and Baker we are doing fine in the running area. WELCOME BACK Craft SR. WE MISSED YOU! D-Ville has Addison! Sure wish he had stayed in BUNA! I do expect it to be a good game but I think Buna will pull it out!

K-ville could use some humilty. I know last week a few buna people made comments about how big the score would be but not all. Go ahead and boost how bad you will beat them, it says allot about your character. Hemphill, seems like K-ville thinks the game is already won, sometimes they get their behinds handed to them! I was pulling for K-ville to beat Newton but after reading some of the post, maybe not! I thought Newton needed a good foot in the rear but maybe someone else needs a little lesson.

What is up in BC? I would blame it on Ike but they let go OLD Billy last year. Now harping on Stump. If you need to take out some IKE stress do it, just don't take it out on the Coach. Maybe Jamie should just let the parents take a turn every week. Remember, the kids are stressed out too and parents harping about their coach is not going to help anything or anyone. GOOD LUCK BC!

Prayers goes to both of the Warren players hurt last night and tonight. The Warriors did a good job and wish them good luck for the rest of the season. Nice job Cougs! Starters and subs did a good job tonight!

Any team can win on any given night but unless Buna just lays down, they will win.

Any team can be beat any given night. Depends if the boys have their head in the game. I do like that most people think Buna is not any good this year, it makes our boys play harder. Go Cougars GO!

From the other half of the champs of '07, ;D I believe it will be a good game. Now I know you ec guys will be on the boards by Nov. and I know it will be a long drive, from Midland but if EC and Buna are undefeated I bet you will try to make the run! Has EC got all their boys back? No team can really brag about winning if all the boys can't make it back. Good luck to both teams, I think it will come down to who is in better conditioned. Kountze got a field goal after the bad call. If they have been given the 6 pts for a touchdown and went for 2 and made it that would be 8 pts. Add that to the 6 pts that would have been 14. You can only wonder what would have been if the bad calls were not called. We also had a few bad calls, not as bad as yours I agree but it is up for grabs if either team would have scored on those. Both teams played hard and never gave up.

I refuse to be like EC was with Buna last year. There were 2 bad calls against Kountze but we did have some too but the ones against Kountze were pretty much "what were you thining ref" . If Kountze had gotten the touchdown and went for 2 the score would have been 19 - 14 Buna would still have won. Both teams played hard and in between the refs calls this was a good game. Back and forth as I thought it would be. Don't look at Kountze's size, those boys can play ball. To my Buna Cougars, WAY TO GO! I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU! Trey, you played a heck of a game and Kept you head in the game! I kinda liked your number too!

First, any team can be beat on any given night. I would not say this on the Hardin and Hemphill page because I did not want to crash their party. Buna scrimaged Hemphill, therefore, I do believe Hardin should have done better. Maybe the boys relaxed after they realized it was not going to be a hard game to win. I know a scrimage is not like a real game but sorry, they even had a boy fake a injury to get out of the scrimage. Now that everyone has played a few games I believe the title will be between Buna, Kountze and dewyvillve. Not writing you off. Have to wait and see how it goes.

Well, Evadale turned Buna down because they did not want to get blown out. Guess it still happend!
